Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo lift - which was not a problem for us. Tricky to find for taxi driver.
Beautiful room with lovely touches. Family feel with booklets about the background of the premises and their family. Free homemade cookies in the room. Lovely bakery below. Large room.

Lovely hotel, clean and a lot of space. Great bakery and cafe downstairs. Staff are very helpful and it’s a quick ride to the airport. A lot of restaurants around and only 5 minute walk to the walking market.

United States of AmericaThe room they assigned us was a bit darker and smaller than in the photos - there was no armchair to sit in for example. The cafe downstairs was quite expensive by area standards and despite having 10+ staff members around and only a handful of customers, they told us it would take 20-25 minutes to get an avocado toast and egg sandwich for breakfast, and finding this strange and not very hospitable we declined since we had a ferry to catch and got croissants instead.
Big and comfortable bed, strong air con and a good location near the night market, restaurants, 10 minute taxi to the pier made it a solid one night stay for us before departing for the islands.

NetherlandsThere was no water for an hour or so and although that was not at all the fault of the hotel, I would have appreciated some information about it from the staff.
The bakery downstairs is an absolute pleasure and in the evening we received lovely pastry from there. The location is lovely. There are restaurants around and everything is walkable. The room was exceptionally clean and beautiful. A lot of comfort. Amazing beds. All in all, just fantastic.

Nice big room, good aircon, good bathroom. Every aspect of our stay was good from a late checkin to an early checkout. You would struggle to do better for the price. Particularly appreciated the grinder to make fresh coffee when we had to leave very early. The associated cafe downstairs is excellent for coffee and breakfast.

JerseyAs it’s o the first floor, Entering the hotel when the cafe is busy is a little awkward but you do get time to look at the delicious cakes they offer! 😋 so we didn’t mind!
It’s so convenient, right in the centre of the old town of Krabi

GermanyThere is a narrow stair you need to climb to arrive at the reception and then another (or more) floor to the rooms. However the personnel always offers to help with your luggage, so this is really a very small downside, but be aware that the place is not 100% accessible.
The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious and clean and provide everything you need for you stay. The beds super comfy. The personnel was very kind and helpful, and the location very central in the town of Krabi. The café downstairs is also amazing, great bakery products and coffee.

Quirky hotel above family bakery reached by spiral staircase, staff willing to help with luggage. Friendly helpful staff, large comfortable well equipped rooms, complimentary goodies, coffee beans, water and drinks. Lovely breakfasts in the bakery from 08.00 to 16.00 - as we were leaving before 08.00 a takeaway breakfast was organised for us to put in the fridge in our room. Trips and taxis can be arranged at reception.

United KingdomBreakfast is not included in the price and it was a shame that there wasn’t a deal for guests eating in the cafe as the price of breakfast in the cafe was on the high side in comparison to the room. This could be a problem if you are on a budget - you will need to go out.
This was more like an up market guest house than a hotel, located above a very popular patisserie and cafe owned by the same people in the centre of Krabi. It was close to the river and there were plenty of places to eat close by including night markets. It’s ideally located for trips to the jungle and islands. The room was spacious and nicely laid out with a large king size bed. A lot of thought had been put into making sure guests had everything they needed. There were plenty of nice touches such as coffee beans and a grinder and filter,a kettle and selection of teas plus chocolate brownie cookies. There was always left over pastries at the end of the day that were offered to guests Toiletries were provided along with an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste, dressing gowns etc The bed was really comfortable As with many places you cannot put toilet paper down the loo so be prepared to use a bum gun if necessary

United States of AmericaThe only thing we didn’t like was the door to the bathroom. It is a sliding, heavy wooden door and makes a lot of noise when opening and closing.
Hotel is great. Perfect location, clean rooms and fantastic staff. The hotel is above the Much and Mellow Cafe which is great if you are hungry, want a a snack, etc. Very conveniently located to all the attractions in Krabi Town. We enjoyed dining at The River Restaurant which is only a few steps away from the hotel.

Everything! The food, the people, the rooms. After visiting krabi in 2019 and falling in love with a cafe called may and mark’s it was gutting to see it closed but then when reading the welcome pack after checking in here, this hotel is run by the same family! Awesome :-) The little cookies and brownies in the room with coffee and coffee grinder was just out of this world.
