Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. There are holes in the wall, fly screens and in the floor, so easy access fir ants, gekos etc.. The canalization also doesn’t work very well. It always smells pretty bad in the bathroom. Showers work but could also need an upgrade. All in all I’m not sure how often and how they clean the bathroom because everything was dirty.
The resort is in a nice location. The surroundings and trees are well-maintained. Also the bed is comfortable although it’s on the ground. We booked the accommodation because we needed to change our travel plans and unfortunately there was no other/better place available.

United KingdomThe bathroom. There was something manky in the plug hole when we arrived. The toilet blocked on the second day and we couldn’t sort it. Couldn’t seem to find anyone at reception to sort it in the evening. We tried to let the cleaners know as they were waiting to go into our room when departing but they couldn’t understand. The bathroom altogether was just a bit naff and the shower was odd. The pool didn’t look too appealing either. The breakfast didn’t have much variety. It was mainly “dinner” food but personally I like a breakfast with some continental things which there wasn’t much of. It was further into nowhere than we thought so wasn’t easy to get around however as said previously they were very accommodating and even gave us a number to call when we needed picking up. I would say it’s a little over priced but not too bad. I don’t recommend staying here for too long.
The main room was okay. Bed was comfy and had a mosquito net. The outside was pretty. The staff were lovely and gave us a taxi ride when we needed as we didn’t want to rent a moped and didn’t realise how far it was to walk to places.

Czech RepublicThe houses are made of wood and the isolation isn’t really there so during the night it was really cold. Also the insects could easily go though.
The staff was really helpful with everything. Just for the overnight stay with good breakfast it’s alright.

MacauThe bungalow was in a poor condition. We needed to close the door with a piece of wood and a lock. The door couldn't be totally closed; we could see through it. The curtains and the net in the bed had many holes and were damaged. The bungalow was elevated around 70cm from the soil, so in the bathroom, we could see the soil between the wood. The hotel doesn't clean the rooms, and when you enter the room, there is a big list of what you will pay if you damage something, but then everything was damaged in the rooms. Also, the staff wasn't very kind; I don't know if it was because they had trouble speaking in English or not, but sometimes I asked for their assistance, and they would talk with the manager or something, but then they didn't give me any response. Basically, the communication was weird.
The place it is a lot of potential to be a nice hotel. Lots of trees and nature surrounded.

BulgariaDefinitely not for everyone: pool was dirty and it's far from luxury.
Authentic Thai experience in a traditional bungalow, if you're up for that. Located in the "jungle" but close to nice beaches

GermanyThe Tiny Houses in front of the pool is verry loud, you can hear everything from outside. I must be changed my room because at the morning I woke up by Miley Cirus at 7am and the music and other guest and the staff talks into the night arround 11pm. I asking for changed my date to shorter booking to look for a another more quiet resort but the hotels doesn’t allowed and keep my money. Luckily, after 2 days I was able to move to a quieter room at the end of the resort.

Czech RepublicIt was a huge mistake. My wife booked this resort as nothing else was available and wanted to have some accomodation after arrival to Koh Kood.. Basicly a Container in the Jungle. Pool was dirty, the hut has already seen some better days, had holes in it. Bed wasjust a small mattrace on the floor Shover water just went under the hut through holes in the floor. Only tiny place to sit outside. Deep in the Island so you need a bike. Same sort of clients (wanabe Hippies). Didn't even stayed 2nd night and left to Koh Chang. If you like clean and tidy places to stay, look somewhere else.

ThailandThe main issue is, is that the images on the listing don’t match the real thing and for the price paid we’d expect a lot better. The pool is dirty and slightly green, we don’t really want to swim in it. The rooms have zero furniture in them. The bedding has holes in it and so too does the mosquito net. The mosquito net is also too small for the bed. The toilet seems to be backed up and smells. The bathroom is pretty unclean. The doors don’t shut/seal properly which means mosquitos and lizards can have easily got into the room. Thanks. Sam and Grace
