Nice clean hotel, comfortable dining, bar, lounge, pool area all in one. Good selection of food throughout the day at reasonable prices. Good breakfast too. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Also, grateful they can organise reliable taxi on departure day. I would stay there again.

It’s honestly hard to find something not to like about this hotel. Maybe the mattress could feel a bit firm for some, but I personally found it fine. If you’re expecting five-star luxury, this might not be your place — but if you want excellent value for money and a truly family-oriented stay, this is it. For us, it’s the best family hotel we’ve stayed at in Bangkok, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s just a short walk to all the energy of Khao San Road, but at the same time it’s tucked away in an unbelievably quiet spot next to a small canal. You don’t hear any of the noise from the tourist crowds, which makes it feel like a hidden oasis. It’s also very family-friendly. The pool is lovely, and the restaurant overlooks it, so you can relax with a coffee while the kids swim. The staff are extremely friendly and really do their best to make your stay special.

Nice quiet spot on the canal with a couple of nice restaurants nearby but also close enough to find some more lively areas nearby. Hotel suites on top floor were really nice and had a great view.

Perhaps due to the pretty low price, some of the travellers who this hotel seems to attract may not have much experience in how to behave im hotel aisles, breakfast rooms or common pool areas. In combination with heavy drinking yet in the afternooons the atmosphere sometimes got somewhat dense and agressive. But maybe we were just unnlucky, certainly not the hotels fault.

Nice small hotel in an excellent location. Walkig distance to the city center, but relatively quiet as its situated on a canal, 50m off the next road. Simple rooms, everything very clean. Hotel on the pretty economical site, you cant expect Grand Hotel facilities for what they charge, and I do find the reviews suggesting that pretty unfair in a hotel that charges €/$ 25,- per person ans night including breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Lamphu Tree House Hotel is an oasis of peace and tranquility in Bangkok. I rarely had a more relaxing stay at any hotel in many years. Best thing was having dinner in the evening outdoors under the trees with wind chimes gently ringing and relaxing guitar music playing in the background. So don't stress yourself out by trying to find a restaurant for dinner elsewhere. They have a considerable choice of meals and drinks on their menu at reasonable prices, and the service is swift. What's more, you can put the cost on your room and avoid thus having to deal with cash and tips. Breakfast was good as well and enough choice available for stays of a couple of days.
