AustraliaIt’s located at the top of the hill and takes a good 20-30 mins to walk. Definitely recommend booking a scooter the day of your stay.
The property was great and met our expectations. The highlight of the trip was the Thai Boxing class with Lek. Great morning session and lots of fun. No previous experience needed

We stayed at The Mantra for the 2nd half of our trip to Koh Samui- beautiful room & facilities. Lovely helpful staff who were always friendly and attentive. Great breakfast with a wide variety of choice, evening meals excellent. We really enjoyed our stay. One particular member of staff, helped us tremendously when we had an accident with our hire car on the main road - Ying left the hotel and came down to translate and support us with translation & the police. We send our grateful thanks to Ying and hope management realise how wonderful she is.

United KingdomCommunication when taking orders for food in the restaurant (English-speaking) could be a little better. It was difficult at times to know when ordering whether the food you order is going to reach your table as requested.
Lovely hotel. Amazing vibe. Brilliant views. Absolutely loved staying here. The co-working space make it a great hotel to be based from when you need to work as well as enjoy a vacation. Gym is okay. Not amazing, but good for a hotel gym. Restaurant has great views and a really friendly vibe. Breakfast is quite good.

GermanyA bit far (no walking distance) from restaurants, bars, beaches, etc. Although they rent you a motorbike for 300 Thai per day, in the evening is easier to eat at the hotel's restaurant.

SpainA personal preference- it would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room rather than just a kettle. Breakfast was okay. Taxi service from the airport was expensive. Other trips into town were the usual price that local drivers would give you. We paid 300thb to fisherman's village and the same going back.
We were lucky that our room was close to reception and we didn't have to climb the steep hill except to get to breakfast or the pool. Usually, if there is a golf cart available, they will take you though. Room was very spacious and clean, bed was comfy. Laundry was affordable and easy to arrange.

Comfortable and spacious rooms with a great view. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was good. The pool, bar and restaurant have a great view and perfect for spending the day relaxing, soaking up the sun and enjoying the view over the bay. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and good coffee. Properly is up on the hill with a great view, rent a scooter which you will need to get around in Koh Samui and makes it easy to get to the hotel. Scooter hire is available from reception which is convenient

SpainPoor quality cocktails at the bar. Ammonia scent in our room probably coming from the AC, we asked them to fix it but it wasn't fixed. Also, sewage smell outside the room and on one side of the swimming pool area.
Stunning view and location, cool infinity pool and good staff. We needed soft pillows and they were provided as soon as we asked them for.

But just a note to future visitors - while the hotel were amazing at organising us taxis where required, but if you want to explore Koh Samui, the resort is best enjoyed if you have own means of transport (bike or car) as it is not on the beach and is high up on the island.
Absolutely stunning facilities, and amazingly helpful staff who did everything to make sure we enjoyed a hassle-free relaxing holiday. This place truly exceeded everyone’s expectations.
