Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgSwimming pool is old and doesn't seem to be taken care of. As water in the sea was not good for swimming during our stay, it was really disappointing. The shower next to it is broken, sun beds are old and very heavy so difficult to manoeuvre. Whole construction of the pool seems dated. Breakfast seemed a bit unorganized, on the first day we were not informed that it's possible to order eggs and coffee separately. Some of the food was displayed in open boxes without any ice so that's not so great for the butter for example, left in the heat. The beach part near the hotel is lacking proper sun beds and umbrellas. There are also many stray dogs, both in the resort and the beach (and this is obviously not hotel's fault). They seem harmless but as they are quite big it's not the best, especially if someone is afraid of them.
Bungalow was spacious and clean. We liked the bed. Room had smart TV which was also nice. Restaurant located in the resort serves tasty food and staff is very nice. Location is quite remote but we were aware of it. We liked small restaurants nearby and massage parlors, within 5 minutes walking distance. The beach near the hotel is very nice and it's literally just one step away, just be aware that the weather conditions might affect the quality of water in the sea. It is possible to use for free a canoe and SUP.

Beautiful resort with its own private beach. Perfect location for a retreat, to relax or spend time with family and friends. Our bungalow was spacious - two large double rooms with 2 bathrooms and a separate lounge area. Breakfast was good with lots of options and good choice of food from restaurant for lunch and dinner. There were paddle boards and kayaks on the beach to use free of charge which was a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return again.

AustraliaIt would have been great to have a couple of small ramps to make it a bit more accessible whilst still preserving the tropical island resort feel.
We just spent a lovely week at Anahata. The staff were warm and attentive and very accommodating. The food at Alchemy was excellent and great value and the massages were wonderful.

United KingdomThe first room I was allocated was across the road and away from all of the other rooms. I was staying on my own so I asked to move to be closer to the rest of the rooms. This request was handled efficiently. I thought there would be more yoga available as it seemed to be well promoted along with the resort. However there was just one class a day at 10am Monday to Friday. Also one on Sunday at 5pm. Some umbrellas for shade on the beach would be welcome as it was in full sun all afternoon. Also the sunbeds are incredibly heavy and difficult to move into the shade under the big tree in the morning.
This is a lovely little relaxed resort on a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff were efficient and really lovely. Rooms were a great size and the beds were super comfy. It was great having a paddle board to easily use as it was accessible on the beach and the water was so calm. The food was delicious and good value with a great selection.

United KingdomI loved everything.
The staff is so nice and lovely. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and I felt at peace as soon as I got there. The food is nice and healthy too and there are good options for vegans. The gym has the essentials you need for a good workout. I highly recommend this hotel !!

SwedenBeing smokers, it came as quite a shock to us when we found out the entire hotel is non-smoking. This information isn't shown on booking.com at all, which would ultimately have resulted in us finding another resort in the first place. Luckily just to the left of the the resort, there is a beach bar/restaurant where everything is allowed, so it kinda worked out in the end.
Good location - bungalow basically on the beach. Nice breakfast. Outstanding staff - especially the Front Office blew us away in arranging a special dinner for us on the beach with short notice. Everything was very professional!

AustraliaThe showers are using electric hot water system. We had two different room types - one the hot water system worked, the other room the system didn't work. The breakfast was usually cold.
Great location - right on the beach. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were able to provide additional amenities (eg. iron) upon request. The cafe serves great food throughout the day.

United KingdomOnly one day I decided to order a drink, not an alcohol fan but they couldn't make my order. But still a little thing. Even as a smoker I didn't mind you were not allowed to smoke
Amazing resort, clean, comfortable, friendly. Having breakfast by the beach every morning was so lovely, missing it already!

AustraliaA lovely small beach resort right on the main beach. Fabulous views and sunsets over the Gulf of Thailand sea. We had a good sized two-bedroom, two bathroom bungalow. Not super flash but very good for the price, and definitely more than adequate and clean, and with air-con in each area. Super helpful and lovely staff. Good breakfasts, and the food at night for dinner, was actually excellent. Can arrange for taxis, only a 10 min taxi ride to local town etc. As we are travelling, we just stayed at Anahata and chilled out! Pool was clean and refreshing when required. Had a few massages at the resort too. I didn't ask, as I didn't know, but you can get a mattress topper if only I'd asked for one. Apparently Thai folks love a hard bed. (Just asked and got one in my more fancy Bangkok hotel.) I'm a tad older and "western" in my habits, so if you are like me, ask for a topper. The lovely staff at Anahata really make the place, besides the beautiful location.

United KingdomThe bathrooms were a bit smelly (this may just be the sewage system throughout Koh Samui). There was no mosquito protection like screens or nets available. There were fireworks set off at 11pm on one night with no prior warning, they were very loud and definitely ruined the serenity. May be worth staff making people aware if loud events are happening nearby.
The atmosphere was good, the hotel was very relaxing and had good facilities. There were water dispensers throughout the hotel. The rooms were spacious with more than enough space to store everything. Really good location for watching the sunset.

FinlandToo expensive restaurant, luckily there's one good home kitchen near by. Small food market 1km far. Though the place is nice, 2 nights is enough.
Beautiful resort in a peaceful area. Great atmosphere! It's nice that you can use the sup boards and kayaks for free. You can also use the gym opposite the street.

United KingdomThe only downside was the building site in the middle of the resort, in between the 2 sides of it.
The atmosphere was great, the bungalow style rooms and the dining area next to the beach.

United KingdomThe breakfast was satisfactory but did cater very much for the 'healthy approach ' a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. In the restaurant area there is a lack of tables for smaller numbers......
We stayed in a beach front villa and it was just in a perfect position. Very quiet and the room was very spacious and the facilities were good. Staff were very pleasant and willing to help at all times. This is very much a wellness hotel and spa with yoga and other fitness options available if you want. Lipa Noi itself is very quiet, we stayed for 6 nights, maybe 4 or 5 maximum .

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing, the resort was perfect for us in every way. It is quite a quiet area which may not suit everyone, most restaurants/bars closed at 9-10pm. Some tips for future travellers….get cash before you arrive as ATM is quite far away although there is a shop nearer that does cash back. Also there are not shops so if you want any souvenirs etc then buy them elsewhere. And we recommend walking up the beach (turn right) to see the temple and cultural centre :)
This resort has a very chilled and calm atmosphere and is set on the most stunning beach. This place is perfect for anyone looking to escape the world and find some calm. Our room was lovely, view looked out onto the beach. Breakfast was fresh and healthy and we had some great cocktails.

MaltaNothing.
We loved Anahata Resort. The location right on the beach was amazing and it was peaceful. It had a lovely open-air restaurant with delicious food, and a spa with a good choice of massage and beauty treatments. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel organised various events like walks and yoga classes, and every evening one could enjoy the concerts of mantra meditation music. Above all, the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. We did not want to leave!

ChinaThe grounds were simple and basic, but not in a negative or ineffective way. My travels were focused on the basic, essential, and not glamorous things throughout my travel experience.
Anahata Resort offered everything needed for a relaxing day spent on resort, as well as taking care of outside bookings and other social interests.

Spectacular beach Beautiful quiet location What I appreciated was prompt staff with excellent problem solving skills. They took immediate action when our air conditioning unit was struggling to work and caused a bit of water leakage onto the bedding. Thanks so much!

Anahata is probably the best seaside place ive ever stayed. For starters, the beach is SPOTLESS! People come and clean it everyday so its beauty stays. There is two hammocks and they are very comfortable. The trees and bushes are very fitting to the chill vibe. The sand is soft and plump so its also quite good to stay on. The wildlife just in the resort is so diverse and pretty.
