The hotel is located in a fantastic location, close to public transport, the Bosphorus, and many tourist attractions. The staff were very helpful and kind and we would be happy to stay here again if we come back to Istanbul!

The room was very clean and cozy, though it is not the most comfortable for two - felt like a shoe box. The bathroom and shower were also rather tight and it was impossible for two to be in it together.

The hotel was perfectly located, with both the Asian and Europan sides easily accessible by foot, tram or water taxi. Excellent restaurants with fantastic food options, great shopping, and major sights were all close by - literally within walking distance of the hotel. Despite its central location, the hotel was very quiet. We absolutely loved our stay.

Bathroom fittings were loose on the shower and the loo seat, if you had a rainforest shower the whole room was soaked.

Ada Karakoy is an incredible choice for accommodation in Istanbul. The hotel is very beautiful, as are the rooms. Everything was amazing, but without a doubt the best part was the people who work there and the location. You can walk everywhere; the port is three minutes away. They were extremely kind to us, helping us coordinate transportation to the airport and assisting us with everything. Thank you for making this trip even better. If I return to Istanbul, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

We stayed four nights on the last week of May 2025, Shenar at the reception was very professional and friendly, everyone at the hotel was very nice, on the first night right after arriving we took a shower and noticed the shower was draining too slowly, we called the reception and they switched us to another room right away. There was always a bottle of water, tea and instant coffee in the room. The location is very convenient, on a quiet block, close to the Galata Bridge, the Galataport complex with modern shops and restaurants is 10 minutes away, tram stations is a few minutes walk away. Room was quiet with A/C and comfortable bed.

Great altitude to the guests, everyone was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could. The best location near the ferry and 10 minutes walk to Galata tower) definitely would like to return !

There was a problem in the shower that the water did not drain away and risked flooding the bathroom. The bathroom could have done with a slight update.

Location, quality and accommodative. We reached 4 hours early, but still they did not charge anything extra. Best possible location, as everything is minutes walk. Right across the waterfront. They kept our luggage safe after checkout.

Some furtniture is wearing out but nothing major.

Hotel has great location, everything is in walkable distance and despite it being placed near the never-sleeping Istanbul center the quiteness of the hotel is it’s top value! No noise was coming through which is very rare in Istanbul. Staff also helped with superb taxi transfer to airport with safe driver to avoid the chance of being ripped off.

The bathroom looked a bit old / it's seen better days. Lot of limescale accumulating along the shower doors / guides, along with some grime. Could do with a bit of a makeover. Roof terrace doesn't seem to be in use if not as a smoking area and it's also closed by windows so not particularly enjoyable, which is a shame as it would have a partial but decent view over the sea and the Bosphorus channel.

Room was quiet even though it faced the street, it was well kept, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were available and polite. Location is really good as it's a 5 minutes walk from the Galata bridge, from the Karakoy Galataport and a 10minutes walk to the Galata tower area. The ferry pier is also located right behind the hotel so you can easily hop on a ferry to other areas of the city. Karakoy is very busy at night, with plenty of places to eat/drink, despite this though the hotel sits on a really quiet street.

Rooms are larger than expected for a European hotel, but may be small compared to North American standards. Some rooms have nice street views but others have no view at all, if you are specific it is worth contacting the hotel. The shower heads could be a bit leaky, but water pressure was great.

This was the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Turkey. Ideal location, close to Sultanahmet, ferries to Kadikoy and the bustling Karakoy, but also a very quiet (but safe) street. Very clean, and incredibly comfortable with pillow top mattresses. The staff were exceptional, very responsive, and even walked us to meet our airport transfer at 4am.
