Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The rooftop terrace was a real highlight, offering stunning views of the city, especially at sunset.

HungaryRoom was OK, beds were a bit narrow, we had a 3 single bed room. and the view from the room was also limited since other buildings were right next to us.
Great location in between Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Everything is in walking distance. Breakfast was AMAZING, never had so much choice! and the view from the terrace is also amazing.

United StatesThis would probably be a plus for most people, but the quantity of food was too much for us. We were unable to finish even half of what we were given. Like the rest of the country, the hotel was not handicapped accessible.
The location could not have been better. It was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and the view from the rooftop was unmatched. The food was great. We had the breakfast there a couple of days, and we had dinner there once. The fish was absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared.

United StatesI can confidently say that there was nothing I did not like about my stay.
My recent stay at the Seven Hills Hotel in Istanbul was an exceptional experience that I am eager to share. This charming boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of the Sultanahmet district, offers a blend of comfort, elegance, and history that is hard to match. Seven Hills Hotel boasts an unbeatable location, just a stone's throw away from some of Istanbul's most iconic landmarks. A short walk will take you to the majestic Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, making it an ideal base for exploring the city's rich history and vibrant culture. The staff at Seven Hills Hotel were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From the friendly receptionists to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone contributed to making my visit memorable. Their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in exploring Istanbul. One of the standout features of the Seven Hills Hotel is its rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served each morning. This was undoubtedly the highlight of my stay. The panoramic views of the Bosphorus, the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia were simply breathtaking. Each morning, I enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast spread, including freshly baked pastries, a selection of cheeses, olives, and an array of fruits. Sipping my coffee while taking in the stunning views was an experience I will never forget.

Hotel is perfectly situated in Sultanahmet, close to trams and a stone’s throw from Haghia Sofia and the blue mosque. The roof terrace also offers magnificent unobstructed views of all the sights. Comfortable bed! We were celebrating a birthday so I asked if the room could be decorated and if a small cake could be arranged and this was done beautifully! Made the occasion extra special!!

United StatesThe call to prayer 5-6l times a day was really loud, but that's expected in this area. The hotel doesn't have much of a lobby.
Great spot in the touristy Sultanhamet. Amazing views of Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque from our room and the terrace restaurant for included breakfast, which is a Turkish feast! Staff were very nice.

CanadaThe room was nice, however the description said we had a hot tub in the room, we were lead to believe it was outside, it was a tub/hot tub. Was a little disappointed with that.
The breakfast was huge for 2 people, but a lot of wasted food. The gentleman at the front desk was amazing, kind and very helpful

IrelandOur room was on to the back of the premises and the view was onto a very derelect site.We were out most of every day of our seven day stay so it was'nt something we noticed all day.I'm sure there are rooms within the hotel that do not look onto such derelection. It was not the first time we have ever been in this situation and I often wonder if such rooms are kept especially for us.
Breakfast was fantastic but way too much.We counted 24 dishes,a lot we did'nt use, however, this is the custom of Turkey and after a number of mornings the waiter took back what we did not use on the large tray.Maybe vary it a bit.

AustraliaWe think that the room is recently updated but there are no towel rails (used towels went on the floor) or fans in the bathroom (it was steamed up after a shower) There are a couple of noisy extractor chimneys on a building outside at the rear of the property, so we had to close the windows. There is a rooftop restaurant and viewing deck which is heavily promoted and part of this is to feed seagulls food on plastic forks. There are plastic forks all over the grounds and paths. The gulls crap over everything and everyone. If you decide to eat a meal on the viewing deck then good luck that you don't get more than you ordered on your meal.
An absolutely fantastic location, our room was big and comfortable. 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace. So many places to eat within a couple of streets. The breakfast is enormous. Ozi, the concierge, was excellent, so helpful.
