It was an absolute delight to stay at Totelya. The area is gorgeous, the hotel is incredibly beautiful and charming and the staff... simply fantastic. We fell in love with the area, we let ourself recommend by the owner and enjoyed the most wonderful breakfast of the entire trip. A complete MUST! Go swimming in the morning, it is totally worth!

Great stay. Mr Bahadir’s hospitality made me settle instantly, walking distance to the centre, despite the trip was middle of hot summer, the courtyard for the breakfast in the morning is quite cool, overall great stay and will be back next time in Akyaka :)

The most relaxing hotel I’ve stayed in. Mohammed and his staff were brilliant. Mohammed was very helpful with any requests and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious every morning, all prepared fresh in the kitchen that morning. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the town and the public beach so in a great location. the pictures of the bar and terrace don’t do the atmosphere justice !

I rarely use 10 for hotel rating, unless it really amazes me in some way. In case of Totelya it was hospitality. Hotel owner is very passinate about comfort of his guests, he explained me everything, gave directions and we had splendid small talk. Breakfast is so far the best I had in Turkey hotels (I have a lot to compare with), didn't expect such variety, everything is homemade and very tasry. The only hotel in Akyaka with roof terrace, where you can sit in a sunbed or a couch and enjoy stars in the night sky. Akyaka and Totelya really exceeded my expectations. Will definitely stay here again

- Not a minus for us but location is a bit hard to walk from the center. Not too far away but pretty steep. No problems if you have a car. - Bathroom was clean but a bit small.

The most beautiful hotel. Spectacular views in an amazing setting. Close to the town and beach. The owner Bahadir, couldn't do enough for us. He was helpful, friendly and giving of his time and knowledge.

We came to Akyaka for kitesurfing and chose this hotel based on the reviews we read. We're so glad we did. Breakfast was a crucial criterion for us, but we did not expect such an amazing breakfast experience. Every morning, the hotel manager, Mr. Bahadir, personally serves handmade jams, cakes, and fresh fruit juices to each table. Fresh tea, fresh filter coffee, cold coffee, and detox water are ready and waiting for you every morning. All the hotel staff are friendly and sincere. You have breakfast every morning under the pomegranate trees. The moment you enter the hotel, you feel at ease; it is lush and natural. Don't expect too much luxury from the rooms. But if you're looking for a great breakfast, excellent service, friendliness, and attention, this is the right place.

That we had to leave.

The overall experience was perfect but the two highlights were the proprietor and and the breakfast. He helped us with planning our stay and at our request had made reservations at a restaurant and for a boat ride prior to us even getting there. The breakfast was the best we had on our 3-week trip. There were additional items to the standard, home made jams and each day he served a different cake straight from the oven. And breakfast was served in a lovely garden. We loved this hotel; it also was an historic building and beautiful. Parking was free right on the street in front of the hotel. One of the best on our trip.

The only improvement I would suggest is to either provide a bottle of water in the room on arrival, or better still provide a supply of pure water to refill our own bottles and save plastic.

Beautiful, characterful house in a quiet neighbourhood, but near to the town. The breakfast in the garden was a feast of delicious home made food. The owner is personable and very welcoming, and provides a very calm tranquil atmosphere.

I absolutely adored the Totelya Hotel in Akyaka! The embedded natural beauty, Mr. Bahadir's exceptional hospitality, and the delightful breakfast he personally serves, made it a memorable stay. Plus, easy access to both town and kitesurfing spots - it's a perfect 10 all around!

There is nothing that i didn't like... One thing is that, if you are looking for a huge hotel room, this is not a place for you. This place is for people who likes to spend time in communal areas!

If you are reading this and if you are an easygoing person, do not even think twice and go ahead book your stay! This place is amazing with an awesome staff! The building is very beautiful with a rooftop terrace, a back garden, a bar and a spacey communal balcony with lots of artwork spread all over. Bahadir who is the manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and welcoming. He is dealing with every details of the stay and he has a lot of recommendations about Akyaka and surrounding region. The breakfast is the best one I have ever got in a hotel...

Just wow. First of all, the building itself is so beautiful. It is built in accordance with the unique local architecture, and has terrace with a scene which you cannot easily find in another hotel in the area. It is perfectly clean at all times. Hotel owner Mr. Bahadir is an exceptional host, very helpful and friendly. There is always a slight, calming, mostly meditation music broadcast. You can see delicately selected decorative objects all around the common use areas. Breakfast is also 10 out of 10. Freshly baked/ cooked appetizers, fresh juices and fruits are served daily for breakfast. On top of that a very nice bar available. Only minus from me is that bathrooms need improvement. I would defitinely stay there next time.

Perfect location, friendly staff and exceptional breakfast are the key highlights of the Totelya. We spend a couple of days at Totelya to try out kite surfing at akyaka kite beach.

The hotel's parking lot is on a nearby street and requires guests to cross an avenue. The hotel does not have an elevator, however, the staff are attentive and take the luggage to the rooms There is no box in the bathroom, so the floor is all wet after a shower.

The kindness and attention of the owner are unparalleled The cleanliness and care of the external areas is wonderful. Breakfast is exceptional, with an extraordinary diversity. Impressive guest care

Perfect place to stay, great breakfast in their beautiful garden, and very friendly owner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, have everything and very clean. Free parking is nearby and very short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we stayed there for longer.
