Good and comfortable hotel, it is close to the center of the village but the location is very quiet. Warm welcoming, good breakfast. You can see the balloons from its terrace (if the weather conditions allow the flights).

Nothing to complain about.

I would recommend Walnut House to anyone visiting Cappadocia. They made our stay comfortable and were helpful at every stage. The rooms are spacious and clean--as was the bathroom. The traditional Turkish breakfast served here was good. In particular, I liked the view of the hot air balloons taking off into the sky from the hotel terrace. The hotel manager put us at ease and was helpful during check-in and check out. Importantly, there are other touristy places around the place. Be it restaurants, handicraft shops, ticket/tour booking centres, etc., everything is just a 5/10-minute walk away. If you are travelling during cold weather the rooms can be warm and comfortable from within.

Room was nice and clean. Location was perfect as it is situated in the heart of Goreme. Excellent service from staff, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast and view from the rooftop. Really enjoyed my stay. Will book this place again if I come again to Cappadocia.

The property was a little bit old and worn. The best post was broken. The breakfast was simple and the breakfast room was a bit shabby chic.

The location was perfect. Close to hiking, restaurants, shops, tour companies. We could not ask for a better location.

Family run property. Good location & hospitality. Arranged all the major tours for us including hot air balloon and Green tour. Airport shuttle can be arranged by the property. Good breakfast and very neat rooms.

Everything, absolutely everything. The staff is wonderful, The location is fantastic, Breakfast has many different options and quantities, with amazing views. And the room is just PERFECT, well decorated, warm and nice, and extremely clean. Without doubt, we will book with them again if we go to Goreme. Breakfast VERY limited and my order of soft eggs came with both yolk and egg white undercooked. Fridge next to bed very noisy so unplugged it. I think it is a GOOD place to stay but unfortunately good=7, which would be a bit unfair to them, so giving it an 8.

Central. Heated flooring. Quiet. View from balcony. Comfy beds. Guy at reception was friendly and helpful albeit not very fluent in English. I do not think I overpaid though as you pretty much get what is advertised.

There is not enough coffee in the room. Only 1 sachet for me and my husband. Would have love to have a cuppa in the morning when I woke up as well. Otherwise, no complaints.

The reception personnel was excellent and very, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and warm with the central heating. Breakfast was good.

Everything was good, they arranged airport shuttle, to anf from the hotel at 10€ as well as the air balloon ride, the biggest question was can u see the air balloons from the terrace the answer is yeess, and also safe for solo women travelers

I was expecting a bathtub like in the pictures when I booked the room but I unfortunately didn’t get it.

The location was really good, its in the center of the Gorëme so everything was pretty close! I enjoyed the breakfast as well it was decent.

Stayed at Walnut hotel with family for one night. The location is great near few viewpoints. Room is quite comfortable and clean. we were happy to find out that there was conditioner to warm up room till it was quite cold at night.

I didn’t like that there was no hangers in the bathroom, nothing to hang the towels or clothing, which is very simple thing to make the bathroom more convenient . Also there was mold in the ceiling over the shower. There wasn’t enough space to put and open our carry on bags.

The location is very close to the centre of Goreme and one min. Away from the bus station. The staff (Ali ) was very friendly, helpful and he let us keep our luggage in the hotel in the first and last day . Also helped us to get into one of the tours in Cappadocia. The room was small but the bed was comfortable . The breakfast was delicious and has a verity of food and you can watch the air balloons while eating.The wifi was good.
