Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Singapore1. Location is near multiple bus stops that connect you to the rest of the city easily, however it can be quite far from places like Feng Chia market (30min bus ride). The building it is in is called ASEAN square and it does have a few KTV/pubs. Having said that, we felt safe and did not encounter any shady characters during the whole stay. 2. If you want your bed to be made, you have to specifically call the front desk. Otherwise the room service only replaces towels and clears out the trash bin... not sure why this is the arrangement but just note.
1. Clean modern rooms that were very functional, spacious and comfortable 2. Free water cooler and love the touch of going green 3. Overall enjoyed our stay very much and made our visit to Taichung really great!

MalaysiaThe staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to our requests. They even gave great recommendations on where to eat and what to see nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and popular spots like Miyahara, as well as convenience stores like FamilyMart and 7-Eleven. Although the exterior of the building looks a bit dated, the interior is modern and impressive. Our room was superb—very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a refrigerator, hairdryer, and a modern toilet with a bidet. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

United StatesHotel entrance was hard to find. We walked around the building but couldn't find the entrance. There were lots of vendors lining the covered sidewalks. We knew the front desk was on an upper floor. We had to ask a merchant on the ground floor where the hotel entrance was located and he was so nice and actually led us to it. It was located in the back from the main street along the west side of the central plaza - ASEAN Square. Hotel entrance lobby really needs to be refurbished. It was in an old building and the elevators showed their age. The room was a good size but it had a bad view of an abandoned building across the street. Watch out for the door thresholds. We tripped and stumbled over them.
Hotel was located fairly close to Taichung Station. There were lots of restaurants and shops around in the Central area. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. The bathroom had a nice tub with surround glass on two sides, separate shower stall and toilet compartment.

SingaporeI think the housekeeping can do a better job. I do not understand why the bed wasn’t made when we asked for housekeeping.
Near to Taichung station and bus stop. Walking distance to various places of attractions. Room is big. Staff that we met are generally friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe only thing that was a little disappointing was the dryer was not drying our clothes properly and took a long time. This doesn't 'dampen' my experience though.
The bed, bathroom, room, service was all amazing! We were lucky to get upgraded for our stay. There is a washing machine and dryer for use. The location is excellent proximity to the main train station and several bus routes.

Singaporehotel was actually located within ASEAN Square - i don't fancy this shopping mall, it actually felt a little shady. Having said that, you can avoid the mall entirely as there is a separate entrance to the hotel
this hotel was the best in my taiwan trip - so central, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The pillow is better than the one i have at home. The room was spacious and the hotel lobby was also very conducive for having a snack with a good view.

AustraliaOur room did not have any windows which affected our sleep/wake cycle
Convenient location near bus and train stops. Lots of local Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The interiors are modern with a Scandi/Japanese wooden aesthetic. Clean and spacious room, we received an upgrade to a room with 3 beds. There is a laundry room with 2 laundry machines and dryers which we were able to use, however during peak periods there were some other guests after us who were unable to dry their clothes before the room closed. The common area is comfortable with snacks and tea which you can help yourself to.

New ZealandNo English speaking channels on TV, but not a big deal, as this is common in lots of hotels.
Helpful staff (Laura, Nagi & Jenny), helped us find a traditional Taiwan breakfast place and with suggestions of sights to see. Free coffee, tea and snacks in the communal lobby area. The lobby area was a good place to sit and relax. Great location near restaurants and street food. DIY washing & dryer room with free detergent. Our room had a view towards the waterway and train station. Very good value for money. Shower was great.
