Fridge and microwave sitting on floor. Fridge causing milk to freeze solid. ROOM 117 - Fridge leaking water on floor. T.V. surround well get some one to look at it. The only thing any good was the shower. - card keys to door don't work if you put them next to mobile phone or credit cards. It took me a week to find this out from the receptionist. Cleaners are inept. Need proper training. Bedding had cigarette burns. I would love to meet the people of your company. You have a total lack of communication in your hierarchy.”
“The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway and everything was clean, which we appreciated. However, the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, despite the non-smoking sign clearly posted on the door. That was unpleasant and hard to ignore.
Another issue came up at check-in: our booking was for two adults and a 16-year-old child (clearly stated on Booking.com), but the front desk insisted on charging an extra fee for the third person. It took some back-and-forth to clarify the obvious, but eventually the issue was resolved.
As for breakfast—very basic, even by low American standards. There were very few options, and definitely not something you'd look forward to. But then again, considering the low price, we didn’t expect much more.
What we genuinely like about this category of budget hotels (part of major chains) is the reliably clean bed linens and towels—a small but important comfort.”
