The only thing that I could say is our room was missing a record player. Each room is supposed to come with one and ours was missing so they brought us one and a few records but the record player was broken and skipping so we didn’t get to use it. Such a small thing and would not prevent me from staying again, but just a note of feedback for the hotel so they can make sure all the rooms have working ones. I thought it was a cool benefit of the hotel to have one and you can select records to play from the lobby! Another thing: I will not be using Booking.com to book anymore. Better prices elsewhere and their “price match” guarantee is bogus. We found a better deal (would have saved me $400) on another site and Booking.com wouldn’t price match- apparently they have so many restrictions on price match that no one ever gets the price match. I’ll book elsewhere every time now!

Adults only is my new favorite thing! Was able to lay in a cabana all day and enjoy the pool, spa, have fancy drinks and delicious food without the disruption of children! I love kids- I have 5- but when I travel alone- I want to relax and this hotel is where it’s at!!!! The food and drinks at the pool are stellar and our server was phenomenal. He was the only server for the whole pool area and he never missed a beat asking us if we needed refills, bringing us bug spray for the mosquitos (who knew there were mosquitos in the desert) lol! We got a room on the first floor near the pool with a fire pit! It was so nice to sit out there and have coffee in the morning in the cool crisp air :) we visited in October.

Don’t want to complain too much, because it was probably just the position of our room—but the pool bar played very loud music even past 10pm and it was impossible to sleep until the music stopped. We’re east coasters visiting PDT so we got tired earlier. I’d say that this is more of a fun party hotel rather than a quiet place to relax. The water pressure in the shower is also weak. but theses cons are highly outweighed by how much fun we had and what a great place this is.

Everything! The moment we arrived we were greeted by the kindest staff members that offered us free handcrafted popsicles daily. Our room was incredible…we loved the style, colors, concrete floors and deck. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked flawlessly. The pool bar was so fun. The weekdays we were there were less crowded than Saturday, but that’s to be expected. The food at LYLO was delicious. All the outdoor and indoor spaces were furnished and decorated beautifully. We loved it!

Neither a coffee machine or a kettle in room. They do have a pay coffee service - but I feel having a coffee machine or kettle available for guest free of charge is a minimum expectation for any hotel anywhere They need to work on improving the scheduling and volume of activities available on site. on our last evening we wanted to stay in and enjoy the some drinks in the patio restaurant near the pool. we could not because there was a very loud fitness class going for most of the evening and the high volume was battling with the music by the restaurant. It was even loud in our room If you get a room poolside, be sure that you are okay with loud music throughout the day

Fun and relaxed atmosphere. pleasant staff

No HDMI cable for the TV so we either had to pay to watch Apple TV or just watch on our laptops. There were a few flickering light bulbs.

Fantastic pool area and great rooftop bar too! Love the comfortable bed, and firepit area. Very spacious and private.

The people staying above us kept moving furniture and banging things really early in the morning. Parking was tricky and we didn't know if we would find a spot. The pool area, under the furniture needs to be cleaned. There was some trash that the staff can't see but is noticeable when you're in the water.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and spacious. The pool area was great for relaxing and the overall laid back feel of the hotel was just what we needed.

Just got back from staying at this place for a full week! I must say the whole team/staff are incredible! I was surprised on how well the texting service worked for the room service/ questions. The room: the rooms are as exactly what you’d expect from the photos. Beautiful, AC, locks and nice showers. The floor on the main level are concrete which is a nice added touch on a hot day. Very comfortable and bed was nice! The pool: Some other reviews mentioned they had issues with accessing the pool?! I legit just showed my ID and gave them my room number and had no issue with accessing the pool each day. Also the chlorine people mentioned in other reviews, are not an issue anymore! Pool side drinks and the bar they have is pure bliss. Good food, good drinks at a decent price. Each room you book has a max of two bracelets allowed under your reservation, for obvious reasons. The area: place is close enough to a lot of cute restaurants/ bars. Close to Phoenix downtown! I’d honestly stay there again tomorrow if I could! Love the spot! Next time it gets cold in Canada I’ll be back! Enjoyed my stay thank you!

Bring a coffee set up as the rooms do not have them. The cafe Cartel is next door but opens at 7am, which is late if you are still on EST.

It was a comfortable and fun place to stay. The pool scene was a blast! The staff were so helpful and easy to connect with. I loved the design of the garden areas and my room was a wonderful home away from home. I would definitely stay here again.

You could hear quite a bit from people upstairs. Walking/moving chairs and flushing toilets.

The decor was super unique and it felt like an oasis is such a busy part of Phoenix. The room was very comfortable and having on site or walkable places for food and drinks was very convenient. The food and drinks were also exceptional.

The pool area was beautiful but it was a little annoying that over the weekend there was a loud DJ and the public could also access the pool which made it very busy and not necessarily relaxing. Perhaps those staying midweek wouldn't have that issue.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we were upgraded after our original room had an irritating mechanical noise and this was no problem. It was easy to find and also there was always parking.

The $15 charge for parking was unexpected. We would have appreciated that the staff let us know the pool hours and requirements (you have to show ID!) before we trekked back and forth to our room.

We absolutely loved the pool, the decor, and our lovely and spacious room. The huge shower was a plus, and we had fun playing records in our room. The boozy popsicles and poolside drinks service made us feel like we were in a luxury resort. Rise is a really fun place to say and the Uptown neighborhood was the best (that we saw) in Phoenix.

No phones in the rooms. Not everyone will have a cell phone or phone may die from low battery.

The only thing I was concerned about is there were no phones in the rooms. Oh and the main door opens to the outside. It was my first time staying in a room where the main doors opened to the outdoors, but I slept well and felt safe.

Wasn’t a fan of the extra fees on top of an expensive room rate (daily parking fee and extra to reserve poolside lounge chair/bed). What was odd, was the fact there were no towel racks near the sink in the room…was frustrating not being able to hang your hand/face towel or bathroom travel bag!

Hip and trendy - cool vibe! Variety of complimentary ice pops at check-in and original tasty drinks at the bar. Beautiful rooms. Loved the comfortable sun beds located at the pool and along the side of building D.

we probably would not have liked a room close to the stairwell as this would be way less private and more noisy because of the way the building is designed.

our room had a little terrace and was located on a higher floor and away from the stairwell.
