They put me in a side building which was like a motel 6, overlooking the garbage cans. Loud air conditioning and fridge.

Pool / outside restaurant was nice. Historic property. Nice staff. Close to Beverly Hills, walking distance about 15 minutes

When looking at the property photos I didn’t realize the hallways were exterior. The noise was not bad though and the hotel/location was safe.

Safe location, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and I love the fresh complimentary water service daily.

I love everything about this place except the wait staff by the pool. I’m convinced one waiter is racist and classist. I staycation a lot. I’ve stayed at Avalon several times and spend a couple of hundred dollars on each meal poolside. I can’t tell you how brutal the wait staff is. As much as I love the Avalon I will not go back due to the brutal wait staff

It is an old property renovate and had a stale smell. We were located in another building which felt isolated and dingy but when we complained the staff happily moved us.

The elevator was loud and bothered me throughout the day, ear plugs fixed it at night . If possible request to stay away from the elevator.

It was perfect

in ten years of coming to Beverly Hills and trying out all the hotels in the vicinity, this hotel stood out by a mile. The staff were so attentive, kind , helpful and polite. the hotel itself is intimate and beautiful with relaxing colours and thoughtful comfortable spaces. The bar and restaurant was exceptional, cocktails delicious and s big shout out for the fabulous Rob & Dave fir their incredible service.

The day that we were there, the bartender was not there, so the only selection we had was margaritas or mimosas for drinks.

The main part of the hotel was very pleasant but we were stuck in an annexe which felt like walking into a car park. Corridor was very dark and uninviting.

The checkout time was 2:00pm but the internet was shut off at noon.

The idea of a boutique hotel in a beautiful location combines the best of a VRBO and a full service hotel. The first impression is the staff as the most important impression to all businesses. The parking guys are the warmest, efficient, and helpful even paying 49.00 to park I insisted they be tipped as appreciation but tipping has disappeared from the travelers both the rich and poor. When they are the first impression I can only hope they are paid from the fees not in tips that are rare. I promise to visit when I am in Beverly Hills and look forward to seeing the greatest memory of the valet service who made me feel at home in the USA.

The front desk person "Al" is remarkable: Efficient, pleasant and very helpful - as were all the greeters and bellman as you entered the hotel.

The system at front desk double charged me my room stay. Also system charges extra for Security deposit with no knowledge.

Staff was very attentive. Jasmine at front desk did an EXCELLENT JOB! VERY helpful and knowledgeable.
