Too hot up there and yall had Carlton Banks from Bel-aire photo in a creepy place by the bed. As if he was looking at us. Kinda creepy, BUT HILARIOUS at the same time

Everything except it was really hot up there.

The room was a bit small so we had to put our suitcases in front of the balcony doors, which made it a bit impracticle to get out. Also there was some old razors left upon a little ledge in the shower (probably because I'm taller than average and could see it) which made it feel a little unclean.

Loved the area, just perfect for exploring some of the more interesting parts of town, like French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, Marigny and Bywater. Easy to find free parking on the street right outside the place.

It's an older place so you can hear your housemates sometimes in the next room.

Super easy to check into my room via pin codes. Bed was comfortable.

Only negative is there was no coffee pot! And no glass ? I was room 2 wirh a nice fridge, but no glass to make a drink and no coffee to enjoy in the beautiful courtyard. Those two items make a big difference in comfort for a 3 night stay.

Loved the old home feel and vibe. Spacious and clean and comfortable. Great location.

The walls did get a bit thin at times, but I only mention it because it might bother other people, not myself, really. I would also replace the fridge/microwave with a small table/desk and chair where I can sit and manage something in front of me (coffee, laptop, etc.).

Location in a bar & cafe neighborhood within walking distance of events and activities. Relaxed restaurant/bar downstairs. Also, the living room/study just inside from the balcony, although I never used it.

The shower was a bit rubbish- it was hard to keep the water from the rest of the bathroom. When we came to the room there was already a wet dirty towel on top of the shower too. So we started off with the room already smelling damp and wet

The locations was perfect - a lovely neighbourhood with great bars and restaurants- and only about 20 min walk to the French quarter. So close enough & far enough! The house is beautiful & the room was cosy & quirky.

Good for the price and a very nice building

The room wasn't the cleanest room ever. The window airconditioner has made the curtains very gross. Also, part of the plaster was coming off the ceiling. It was a vibe though. That was all just a minor inconvenience for us. The price was great, so we weren't expecting a five star room. There's so much tot do in New Orleans that we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyways. The quality and price are fair.

Very nice location and free street parking around the accomodation. Since we were not sure at what time we would arrive it was nice that there was self check-in with a door code. We booked this place very last minute, so it was great that this worked out. The hall of this building and the balcony are very nice. Too bad we didn't have time to have breakfast on the balcony.

It was a shame that the frosted window didn’t show a view, though we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway.

The room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom. The remote check in worked well and I didn’t need to contact any staff during my stay. The location was very quiet and only a short drive from the French quarter. AC and fan both worked perfectly and it was nice to have complimentary coffee.

I never had contact with any staff and was unsure how check out worked. I had no idea how to reach someone regarding any questions or requests. I don't know if there are rooms on ground floor levels. I would not recommend for people unable to take stairs and the stairs are steep and narrow. Any heavy luggage will count as a workout manuvering up and down the stairs.

I enjoyed the location. It was enough out of the Jackson square French Quarter area to enjoy less hectic night life. There were cafes, restraurants , and bars/ music venues near the hotel. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the local resident interactions. The area felt safe and it was only 15 minute stroll to Jackson Square. The room was on the smaller side but had more than enough space for me. The decor of the room and house lended a historical charm. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The downstrairs common areas were lovely and offered board games, coffee (keriug pods) and tables to eat your to go meals. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to enjoy New Orleans without having to be bombarded by the French Quarter night life. The location offers ease of access to the central quarter, while remaining removed enough to allow a truer local experience of the area. I felt truly blessed to have been able to last minute book this hotel on the holiday weekend.

My room was adjacent to the court yard.

The ambiance and positive energy. Jen Lee was very familiar to me prior to my arrival. After a day, I became I’ll , and she did her best within her means to allow me to recuperate after taking my prescriptions, needing rest prior to check out. Of course I was charged an additional fee once or twice, but I couldn’t possibly left immediately, considering I was under medication with extreme side effects. I thank Jen for her immediate attention. However, I hope to be back as long as they’ll have me.

It was a bit of a problem to get in, ass they sent an email with exterior building and room door combinations in the early afternoon, which I was unable to connect to since I can't connect using my phone. I tried calling their phone number unsuccessfully to talk with someone, so we just waited on a bench outside the door. The manager finally showed up and provided the information.

The sink and shower drain slowly and the room has no natural light.

It's easy to find, easy to find parking, and easy to get into. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed and I didn't feel nervous about walking down the block with my luggage. There were extra blankets in the closet so I didn't have to run the heat. Also there's a chill wine bar/restaurant downstairs. It's very low key and is a great place to start the night. It's in a great location, you're just 2-3 blocks from Frenchmen St. and just a short walk from Bourbon St and Cafe du Monde.
