There are beautiful gardens throughout the property. When we stayed, the gardens were in full bloom.

It's always a nice stay. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, nice breakfast-free 👍, & to receive service or ask if service is needed every day is the best! Peaceful garden area, nice grounds, and a large area for fido - equipped full with doggie bags, around the back. I've seen my share of affordable around the SLO area, and you couldn't find a better place for the price. Pool and sauna on site with a laundry room. Starbucks, a gym, and a grocery store within walking distance. The staff at the front desk have always accommodated me and been very cordial.

Breakfast Room by Pool too small/quickly crowded.

Room as comfortable, clean. TV hard to navigate - takes too long to find channel of choice from the 295 channels offered. Could be easily fixed with a channel card listing most popular channels like Fox, CNN, CNBC. Netflix wasn't wprking.

Got upgraded to 2 bedroom accommodation from 1 bed with sofa bed so that was nice. Coffee and biscuits available in foyer each day. Spacious room.

Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. I prefer more wholesome food so ate my own food instead.

I have stayed with this hotel for at least 3 times and every time has been nice and the breakfast well get it first thing in the morning because the eggs can be watery from sitting in a warmer with a lid on top of them. I love that you can leave your keys in your room and do a fast check out without having to stop by the front desk.

Although it's advertised as "non-smoking" our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. In past stays the staff have always been friendly & helpful. This time they were more aloof and disinterested.

We've stayed here a number of times over the years and always enjoyed it. The variety of breakfast options was good although the fresh fruit ran out pretty quickly. The beds were comfortable with plenty of plush pillows & just the right weight of bedding, not too warm or too cool. The fireplace with chairs in the lobby is very inviting with coffee & tea offered makes a nice check-in experience.

Wall of room is thin, we can hear noise outside the room when people talking and stepping.Bathroom didn’t have hanger. Dining room for breakfast is very tiny. Not too many foods for breakfast.

Love the heated pool and spa. Beds were comfortable and room was clean for the most part. The morning I left, I was cleaning up and noticed a spot on the wall next to the heather/cooler that looked like a water leak through the wall. When I bent down to touch it for confirmation, the corner of carpet in the same area had dry crusted mold that was a little fuzzy in some areas. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the railing along the walkways are not up to code, so it is dangerous for small children (they can slip right through. Over all, it was a pretty decent and affordable place to stay. Everything else was really clean. Even though I didn't bring my dog, I appreciate it being a pet friendly establishment. It is a place I would visit again.

My security deposit of $100 still hasn't been refunded to my card. I stayed there Feb 15 2025 and it's now March 15 2025. I called them and the girl didn't even pull my account up she told me to call my bank.
