To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room was small, although this is expected in New York. The breakfast choice was decent enough but could have been better. The staff booked a car for me to travel back to JFK, which they said was a flat rate, but didn't tell me it was more expensive to pay by card, and the price they told me didn't include the city charges and extras. I would have got out cash if I'd known it was more expensive to pay by card and would have preferred to know the full cost in advance (although it was still cheaper than my Uber quote).
The hotel was a great base for my stay in New York. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond. The room was stylish, comfortable, and clean, although it was very small. This is expected for New York, but it would have been tight if I had been travelling with a partner (I was alone). I loved that the hotel provides ear plugs! The room wasn't that loud to be honest, but if you like to sleep with the window open like I do, the earplugs were a nice touch. I was able to print some small documents for work purposes at the computer terminal, which was really useful. Free tea and coffee in the lobby. Excellent location, close to the subway and Chinatown.

AustraliaBreakfast was the big let down. This hotel is modern, the staff are great. The rooms are compact but really clean and well organised however for Australians atm this is an expensive hotel and the breakfast really made me wonder why they just don’t have a dishwasher.
The breakfast is what let my stay down. I hate not having crockery. Paper bowls and cups just seem so wasteful with plastic cups. No fruit on our last morning was really a big disappointment.

Breakfast is fine , but there are a lot of good restaurants around which serve food delivery. 3:00pm check-in, 11:00am check-out policy is a little bit annoying . But early check-in service is a surprise ,and it costs $50. Hot water,coffee and other drink machines are open for 24hrs, so does the microwave! Haven’t tried gym or spa , but I don’t think it will be bad. Because of rush checking out, I left stuff in the room. The register and the house keeper found it in a few minutes. What a mazing team! I really appreciate them! Like this hotel and definitely will come back!

Tommy was very friendly and treated me like a friend. The breakfast was good. Bacon and croissant, toast, waffle etc. I saw plenty of options. Maybe add some homestyle potatoes, english muffins or people also like biscuits and gravy so I hear. I was happy with bacon and a croissant. :)

United KingdomOnly tiny issue was that the coffee machine in my room either wasn't working or I was just confused by how I couldn't get to work. No big deal as drinks available in reception, except on this occasion that wasn't working either but had been otherwise so all in all so big issue as would usually be very well provided for.
The hotel was very attractive, with sweet well-equpt room. The only slight downer was the noise from the street on the evening g when I first checked-in of some guy constantly yelling, but it did stop and heard it no more. Sadly NYC has it's share of homelessness like everywhere today and feel for those unfortunate people. Everything else was great, especially the breakfasts which offered a huge variety and plenty to have to set you up for the day! The staff all very friendly and helpful, thank you! Great location just a minute from Canal Street and very easy to get to all parts of city, and JFK from here.. Lovely three days in the cityhaving spent the rest of the week in NJ to see The Boss at MetLife - super special, get well soon Bruce!!!
