Check-in was perfect until we entered the room and it was not cleaned. It's 6:30pm, so we were tired. The worker couldn't contact a maid to come in, so she gave us keys for another room, I entered and there was a family standing in the room already. Finally she managed to get a maid to come in and clean our reserved room. Then at breakfast, it was the girls' first day working. She only set out half the breakfast spread. The worker on Sunday did much better, there were many options and all the condiments were set out.

The front desk worker Friday evening was very helpful. Good breakfast options and a nice room.

One of the smoke or fire detectors kept chirping all night woke me up at 3:30 and could not completely go back to sleep. Reported it to the desk clerk when we checked out and he said they replaced all the batteries recently. The ice machine did not work on our floor!

I was surprised and disappointed to see a large hole in the sheet, worn through. I expect better when paying a bit more for an above-basic motel.

I had stayed at this hotel before and so it was a treat to spend a little more for the extra quality. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped, as is the bathroom. The desk is comfortable to work from. I appreciated breakfast. The eggs were tasty but there were no bagels at all, just processed bread and no fruit. I also appreciated a quick workout in the small gym. Centrally located .

Roach in room, beds mattress need to be changed seem to be worn out, toilet seat needed to be tightened and bathroom sink had crack in the bowel. Room smelled musky.

The elevator sounded like it was about ready to give out. There were 2 available elevators but only one was working ( barely). We had a room on the 4th floor and when we walked in it smelled like there had been a water leak at some point ( musty) and the air was on. As time went on I think we just got use to the smell. When we checked in there was a young women working the counter later that evening we passed the front desk multiple times going in and out and had a couple questions but every time we passed no one was at the desk. We finally saw her by the elevator leaning against the wall on her cell phone. However maybe this was just an isolated occurrence. Finally the same breakfast served every morning we were there.

The young lady at the front desk that checked us in was not very personable. Then we went up to our room, walked down the hall to smell someone smoking weed. We went to eat and we got back to no parking because workers parked work trucks that took up a number of spaces.

My only complaint was that the pool was freezing! Also the USB cords in our room did not work but we used the plugs.
