Some of the rooms are separated by Hwy 1 from the rest of the property, although, the rooms were set back enough that road noise was not an issue.

The Adirondack Chairs in the creek was what drew me here, but the rest of the property is also wonderful. The beds were soft and comfy, the restaurant food was good, and the breakfast burritos were huge!

The room we unknowingly ended up with was across the busy Highway 1 to reach main facilities and restaurant. No crosswalk or sign or blinking light. Very dangerous to cross. We ended up getting our deposit back but had to drive 3 hrs out of Big Sur area to Pismo Beach to find a room. Very inconvenient and exhausting.

We arrived by bicycle from Carmel. We sent a box forward with our evening attire. The staff was very helpful in receiving the box. We shipped the box home when we left. They were awesome. The kids name at the desk was Gabe really helpful.

It is very overpriced at >$300 a night for a motel with no AC & weak wi-fi. It was difficult to sleep with the all the loud road noises kept waking me up. In hindsight, I recommend doing a day trip to big sur instead of staying overnight.

The pillows could have been better otherwise everything else was great. Really no complaints at all.

The room was very clean and cute. We had an outdoor patio with a bench and table. There was free wifi. Everything was expected as pictured. Will definitely stay again.

Suite was okay. 50/50. They spend too much on lamp shades! Could've spend that to coffee maker (a little more convenient to make, brew); microwave; small refrigerator. 🤷‍♀️ We used bathroom light as our nightlight.Unfortunately, we didn't get enough sleep because of censor light. So sensitive!! Little movement from bed, light will turned ON. Safety precautions: Not advisable for older people to have that kind of bathroom. Hopefully, not all bathrooms are like that. They need to re-evaluate the floor. Need airfreshener. Smell weed or something when you enter the room.

River.. although, it didn't go as expected due heavy rains from last weeks and past few weeks. We didn't get a chance to relax, chill and hang out by the water. We will coming back for sure maybe on summer. Food next door was good (lol) where else we can go.

Just to be aware there is a little bit of traffic noise in the morning but it is a roadside motel so... it didn't bother us anyway. We loved the place.

The beds pillows linen were amazing. The best nights sleep of our trip. The room was fresh and clean and big. Lovely toiletries provided. Great shower. Fast heater in the room and good temperature. Coffee provided. We had a really good breakfast at the restaurant and burritos at the shop also great. Staff at both of these were good. We didn't really meet motel staff.
