It’s an older property so there is some wear and tear, especially being so close to the ocean. The bathroom was small. We were here right after Hurricane Erin so there was sand in the pools but the staff were doing a good job of getting them cleaned.

The room itself was spacious and clean. We had a porch on the ocean side. We could see a bit of the ocean and could hear the waves crashing. There’s a full size fridge and microwave. There are two outdoor pools and an indoor pool and spa which my grandson loved.

Location can’t be beat! The balcony, pool, outdoor shower, and storage space in the room were fantastic. Having the lift to take our luggage up and down was such a help, and the large amount of storage space in the room was surprising and appreciated. The photos seem to be old, as the room seemed freshly decorated and painted in a nice blue.

seemed like the floor had particles of sand on the floor and the a.c. wasn't insulated very well you could actually see through to the outside therefore letting in a lot of unnecessary heat and humidity

Small bathroom without a way to hang wash cloth or towel- no towel bar, not even a hook. No closet, just a few hooks on a wall. Electronic door key didn’t work so front office clerk gave me a rubber bracelet to unlock it. Unwelcoming front desk personnel.

Beautiful beach. Decent but not great view of ocean from second floor room: looked at angle at an opening between two sand dunes to view the ocean. Old furniture but plenty of drawer space. Good location.

The view from the second floor was still primarily of the dunes, but I imagine the view from the third floor would have been perfect. Water pressure was hit and miss, it’s an older building, so there are several imperfections.

Pools were great, plenty of options. Great access to the beach and within walking distance of several wonderful restaurants.

The air conditioner upstairs dripped onto the balcony rail. The furniture was a bit old.

The pools. The hot tub was quite nice. The motel was directly on the beach and close to everything. The room had plenty of space and a balcony. When the refrigerator didn’t work we got a new replacement right away. The room was recently painted and had a new floor.

Not much, but maybe the cleaning staff not coming to ask us what we need or not providing us with a “do not disturb” sign to put on the handle would have been ideal, but at the same time it’s nice the the cleaning staff were extremely nice when you walked by them with a smile when I saw them and they weren’t constantly intrusive with coming to my door when I have had a “do not disturb” on the door and they proceeded to come once or twice early in the morning anyway, like I’ve experienced in some motels and hotels. It’s not really a bad thing, it just might be helpful to have a “do not disturb” sign to put on the handle and staff can come to ask us if need anything in case we don’t see them outside the room as they clean other rooms.

We had a nice pretty updated room with a great view on level two, but especially on level three. The staff at the front desk and in the kiosk were extremely nice! That was very much appreciated!

The outside of the building needs some TLC. Also if you are travelling with a small pet be advised they can get under the patio dividers which could cause a potential problem with other guests/dogs. It would benefit them to provide more information at check in such as if you need more coffee, soap, towels etc. for your room, help yourself (located in this drawer in the lobby).

The rooms and bathrooms have been remodeled and are squeaky clean. Beds were comfortable and location is fantastic. They provide a dumb waiter to assist with getting your luggage to the 2nd and 3rd floor and have ample free parking. They accept pets and stays less then 3 days.

The back door doesnt lock from the outside so ypu had to lock it and go through the front and around, unless you wanted to keep it open and chance it. It was not a huge deal because we were around if we needed to leave it unlocked or went through the front.

I loved the location. It was right at the beach, just steps away. It was great for children and dogs. The ground level rooms give you access to a sandy area in front of the back door for dogs or kids to play in, shaded by the building when it gets too hot at the beach. The pool was a nice addition as well. There were a couple of outdoor showers available to get the sand off before getting back into the building.

One of the lights was out over the one bed, but I'm sure that's just a bad bulb. Other than that, wasn't anything I didn't like.

We loved the beachfront location. We loved the hot tub and indoor pool. The bathrooms were clean and comfortable as well. We loved the front porch with views of the dunes/ocean. The birdhouse was nice to listen to during our stay. We loved seeing other pet owners with their dogs each day.
