The rooms are clean but old and in poor repair. Light bulbs out, ancient air conditioning unit, double beds, priced double what the rooms are worth, no TV, very poor WiFi, fan in bathroom didn't work. It was basically a place to sleep for one night. At least there were no bugs.

The location was it. We couldn't find a room anywhere closer to Great Basin National Park. The refrigerator worked, but it froze some of our food.

No coffee maker in room. "Queen bed" was ~30 years old with springs and smaller than today's standards. But clean and soft.

Location, location, location. This is on Hwy 50 straddling the NV/UT border. Adjacent to Great Basin National Park. Available lodging is far and few between in this area. Looking for a convenient and clean place to sleep. It had a refrigerator and microwave. Great AC unit that kept the room as cool as you wanted.

The room was clean and seemed smoke-free, but I'd caution anyone with an allergy/aversion to cigarette smoke to avoid the main building (store/bar/restaurant). People smoke in the bar/slots room, and the smell permeates the whole building. The buildings need some maintenance (missing window screens, stains, etc.) but the appliances worked fine.

Close to Great Basin NP with nice views of the mountains and stars (if you step behind the buildings to block the gas station lights). Not glamorous, but if you're focused on the park that doesn't really matter. The fridge and microwave were helpful; we brought and prepared our own food.

There were none of the usual amenities. No coffee maker, no bathmat, no plastic glasses. No hairdryer, toilet paper roll with no perforations and did not fit on the holder, no clock, Café closed… Food only available in the dark bar. Condition of the interior, pretty shabby.

The waitress in the bar was very nice.

There is not a lot to choose from in Baker, NV. The hotel is dated, and could use some updating, but is on par with the other hotels in the area. The power outlets in the room were unusable as they were so worn out the plugs would just fall out. The AC unit seemed to struggle to keep the room cool, and the toilet ran constantly. The bed is a bit too soft for a bad back.

Border Inn is convenient to Great Basin NP. Room was quiet, water hot.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, it meets expectations but we had low expectations. It has AC, heat a bed and a bathroom. We just needed a place to sleep.

No TV but wasn`t a issue for me. The wifi signal was weak, if thats a issue for you get a room closer to the office.

Had that small town vibe which was cool because I`m from a small town. We ate at the cafe which was very good. Joe was very friendly and so was the rest of the staff.

Bathroom door gets really close to the toilet and wall so a bit hard to close from inside the bathroom. Staff didn't know and couldn't find out whether we had already been charged for the room when we made the booking.

The price was quite high for a motel and location. I was charged around $120 , which i think is quite high for this type of model. Ideally, this should go for $80, considering there are no other amenities in the town.

The room was quite neat and aesthetically quite nice. The location , with respect to Great Basin National Park, is very convenient. It is just a 15 minute drive to the visitor center. It has an attached gas station, which is a big bonus because gas stations in this area is quite rare and far between.

Sadly the restaurant was closed and there wasn’t any hot food - so we had to make do with what we could rustle up!

Great little hotel on the border of Utah after a whole day driving Route 50 (which we loved!) nice and quiet and a sweet man checked us in.
