I booked through booking.com but hotel charged addl $70 for parking, and so many taxes and room charges. They should all be included up front. Then add all the tips for valet parking, and mandatory bringing up your luggage. Hotel bar closed at 9 on a Fri night.

Clean modern room. Yes its small but very comfortable and within walking distance to attractions. Stayed here several times.

The bathrooms are so tiny. The bathroom door slides and doesn’t close, so there is no privacy at all. Rooms are exceptionally small.

It’s beautiful, and the rooms are pretty and new. The location is fantastic!

Rooms are very dusty (I think due to the carpet) so I don’t recommend if you have allergies. Bathroom toilet is placed in a very narrow corner difficult to use comfortably. The property is known to be haunted, we has some fun experiences with the elevator and lights flikkering in the room consistently, but it’s a fun property and the staff (except for the overnight lady with short hair) is amazing - which makes it truly even better.

Perfectly located, AMAZING STAFF - Mally Smith and Karell. We felt welcomed and had the best of fun. The comp water daily makes a difference.

Courteous, helpful staff. We had a newly renovated room which was well appointed. Historic hotel was very interesting and it had an excellent gym. Rooms are small; however since it is a historic property that is to be expected.

We attempted to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We arrived at approximately 9:30am. There was a line of 10 people waiting; our party of 4 increased the line to 14. The host was nowhere in sight. We waited 15 minutes; more people entered the line behind us. The host did arrive; and took the first party into the restaurant, but didn’t return for 5 minutes. We decided to leave the hotel and find breakfast nearby; which we did.

A great classic building with really a really great staff, for the most part.

The rooms have been renovated and I was disappointed that the bathrooms were much smaller and configured in an awkward way. We rented three rooms and each bathroom was cramped and difficult to manuever in. One had no towel rack or hook. In each the toilets were wedged in a very narrow space between either the wall and the sink or shower giving very little space for comfort. The sinks are long and rectangular with the drain sitting towards the far end meaning water in the front end of the sink doesn't drain. The bathrooms are just poorly designed and when you are staying for a few days, it becomes a real annoyance.

Beatuiful historic hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great location.

The hotel guaranteed a roll out bed/ cot during booking and again confirmed a day prior to check in. Upon arrival, our room was not prepared nor did they reserve a room large enough to accommodate the extra cot. We were given an extra room however for only 2 nights and had to unfortunately cut our trip short due to the sleeping arrangements.

    Breakfast and staff were lovely.
