The actual building is historic and in an excellent location. The hotel truly could use some sprucing up in the lobby and guest rooms- Looking a bit tired. Very good value for the price and comfortable.

A very good buffet breakfast. EXCELLENT choices considering the hotel/price.

Just know that for the affordable rate in such a great location, this is a smaller hotel and it's not brand-new. Still, I think it's great value. If you just want a good spot in the Old City neighborhood and a comfortable stay, this is the place.

The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Even though the hotel is in a great spot, it was in a pretty quiet street. I was in Philly on the night of Super Bowl 52 so you can imagine how loud the city was but I had no trouble sleeping.

The room was a little bit cramped and somewhat dark for the price (see title again).

This is a good hotel but what you are paying for is the location , which is great! We were traveling with our grandson and planning to see the historical sights and museums. We parked the car (free) in the parking garage about a block away and walked everywhere. The area is full of good restaurants at all price levels. The hotel breakfast was nice and in an attractive room.

The price seemed a little high, but I guess that's the going rate in that neighborhood (Liberty Park). And we really did enjoy the neighborhood. Just a block and a half from Independence Park, and maybe 3 blocks from Penn's Landing. Some really excellent restaurants in the area.

Breakfast was a buffet, but much better than the usual chain hotel. Sausage, eggs, Waffles, pastry, fruit, etc. Fresh baked cookies , tea and warm apple cider upon arrival. The bed was way comfortable, and the bathroom had EXTRA TOWELS!!!!!! The staff were very friendly (where did they find these people in Philly?) Would return in a heartbeat.

The parking situation is not fun with just a few street spaces in front of the building to use while you check in and get a temporary placard for the dash until you take it to the garage. Around check in time if they are all taken, you have to circle or find other street spots and the meter maids are out in force.

Great location for easy walking to tons of historical sites and so many restaurants and bars, shops, etc. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included in cost of room was plentiful and my son loved the make your own waffles station.

Housekeeping assumed we didn't want service because Do Not Disturb sign was in the door, even though we specifically told her we wanted service, but a little later. If she had said she couldn't past a certain time, we would've understood, but she said okay, and left a note saying because of the sign, service was not done.

Being from England and not used to air conditioning it seemed a little noisy but it did not stop us sleeping as you have the option of turning it off.

Great location, Fantastic breakfast choice with helpful staff, especially Nancy who was always on hand. Staff at reception were also very helpful for local information.

Parking is terrible in the city! The parking lot was a block or two from the hotel, but it was a pain to get to in the rain!

Loved the staff! We met the cleaning staff in the hallway each morning and they were sweet and upbeat and left our room spotless. Also loved the bell waffles for breakfast! Great location with tons of restaurants nearby as well as historical attractions.

    Didn't find anything:)

Our one night stay in this amazing hotel was brilliant! Location is absolutely convenient. Lots of cafés, restaurants, pubs, parks, few blocks from the river. The next best part was the staff, which was extremely friendly and professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks:) Room was neat and clean, with a nice street view. Breakfast selection was decent! Bravo! I love absolutely everything about this hotel! See you next time:)
