And when I asked the lady at the desk she told me it was because it's magnetic and I'm probably putting it too close to other credit cards... The next day the gentleman behind the desk told me that it shuts off every 12 hours and that has to be reset. That I can handle. Lying to me was not okay

Dont like the idea of rounded lights touch via hand. the ceiling had dirty spots. it is a miracle that nothing fell off the ceiling there s a fire alarm attached at the ceiling. but who knows if that is working. why two air conditioners in the room. one is old and dirty, its not working, the second is radiation? air conditioner. that is working. But, if it's with heat, it dosent warm up, if its with fan or coll air, it does not coll the room at all. the window is small and covered with the cabana hotell logo, it is like a wall paper, cant even see the city. its a shame. only one garbage pail in the bathroom, But nothing for the bedroom. its a shame.
the good: front desk person was ok. and unlike the past, the hallway going to ur room, no longer smells like cigarettes. it did before, when i stayed in this place a few times, but now, no more cigarette odor. at least for now. who knows if it will stay that way next time.

United StatesThe floors in our room were dirty as if they hadn’t been swept or mopped, the refrigerator door would not close. The bathroom didn’t have a light (only light in the bathroom came from the mirror) , there were roaches in our room. The hallway and room smelled of old smoke. The parking garage was tight but it worked. Ceiling had so much dust. The lady at the desk was aggressive. The place has so much potential, honestly is cute. They just need some cosmetic changes.
The location was really nice. I appreciated the tv coming with the Roku system already installed. Loved that the room gave a night time feel all day. I accidentally slept until 11:19 am thinking it was about 4 am because of how dark it was.

United StatesStaff was friendly, The parking was awesome, the room was cold if you go in the room set the ac to 88 and you will get a 75 degree room (in the winter)so please tread accordingly, the room had cool upgrades that were temu worthy, also didn’t like how there was a 50 dollar fee too check in early even though the room had already been cleaned (floor was recently mopped when I went in which I had no issue with) hotels normally don’t charge for early check in they just normally check if the room is clean or not if not they the person has to wait if so you can check in early with NO Fee, I know it’s 50$ but it’s a bad taste for people especially if you want returning customers microwave in the hallway was cool, mini fridge in room didn’t work so wasted my takeout lol overall the hotel is

United StatesAs soon as I stepped out of my car I was approached by a man in the parking lot asking for a cigarette and if I wanted any weed (and mentioned "other" more hardcore drugs as well). The whole place reeked of mary jane. Floors in room were dirty. Fruit (drain?) flies in the bathroom sink (which had a hole in it). No comp coffee??? Might be the only hotel I've ever been that didn't have coffee in lobby or at least a simple 1 cup cheap coffee pot in the room. Checkin staff (around 4pm) wasn't rude per se, but definitely not pleasant. Early morning (6am) checkout staff was much more pleasant. Overall, I didn't hate it, but it's basic accommodations at very best.
I thought the bed was pretty comfy. That part seemed at least "somewhat" clean. Fridge worked great. Checkout front desk staff was pleasant, check in staff, not so much. Parking was SUPER convenient, probably the best thing about the place. Fridge in the room was nice and worked great. Ultimately, it served its purpose for what I needed. I'd stay again if I needed a cheap-ish place to stay around Astoria/Queens.

Netherlands- we booked a smoking free room, but the room had a strong smoking odour - the floor had holes, it just did not look clean and fresh - everything was quite noisy - no microwave in the room, only one in the whole building - no coffee machine in the room, nor in the building (why not have a coffee vendor machine?) - both vendor machines were broken - no subway station nearby
- easy private parking with no addtional costs, this is just great - small fridge in the room - good beds
