I last stayed here about 45 years ago when I was a kid. I was very happy with the condition of the motel. We had the family room and it was very comfortable. The family is from Cape Charles so it's home for us. We stayed in a top-rated Hilton that didn't come close to being as nice as this.

I use this motel as a halfway point on my drive to NC. It is in a safe area, right off the highway with easy check in. Rooms are very clean every time I have been here, air conditioning is good. The town of Cape Charles is 10 minutes drive, it has very good restaurants.

Booking.com screwing up my reservation.!

Candy at the front desk was wonderful and assisted me even though booking.com screwed up my reservation. I booked a double bed room through your site and they did not have one available. Candy changed our room to one with a couch bed to accommodate us and the owner comped the room. These folks are so kind and gracious. I will stay there again!

Older motel, crisp Clean beautiful condition. Owner should be proud. Great location to Cape Charles. The rooms are clean, smell good and comfortable. The pool is nice and the staff is exceptional. Great coffee Kuerig machines

Shower curtain was too short and water was all over the bathroom floor. Room was small , bathroom was large. Birds on porch had built a nest in the light and were aggressive as baby birds were in the nest. No freezer in the refrigerator. Could hear people in next room.

The only thing that I can mention that was difficult but not a deal breaker - the bathroom is quite small and it was difficult to fit our bathroom items for quick use. I also would suggest that the parking spaces be numbered to the rooms. We had one late evening when it was almost midnight when we returned to the motel - We were in room 17 at one end of the motel and the only space we could find to park was at the other end across from Room 1. We were checking out early the next morning and had a lot of instruments and amps in addition to our suitcases and computer bags and food.

We loved the 50's vibe of the resort. We were there to attend a Ukulele Festival and this location was perfect - close to the venue for the festival, close to a Food Lion and restaurants (We enjoyed our Chinese take-out), and we just wish we had more time at the resort to enjoy the pool and visit the animals. We also enjoyed the dining table and chairs since we had takeout and cooked our dinners in the microwave. Most hotels and motels do not have a separate dining table.

I booked a king size bed/room and was given 2 full beds instead.

It didnt smell musty. It was very clean. And the pool was very well maintained and inviting. The chickens and bunnies were a fun touch, as well.

Motel was a bit far away from Cape Charles.

Very cute road side motel. I didn't realize that the motel.was 7 miles away from Cape Charles so we had to go to Cape Charles for dinner and for breakfast. The room was clean. Towels were so fluffy <3

Their cleaning products had an overwhelming smell. I had to air out my room upon arrival.

My child was excited about the fire. If it had been warm, I'm sure the pool and container bar would have been fun to hang out at.
