We had a neighbor one night who was blasting techno music and partying until about 4am. Calls to the front desk for help didn't result in them quieting down but they did end up giving us free breakfast the next day so that was nice of them to make up for our lack of sleep (due to the neighbor, not the staff).

Room was highly comfortable and lush. The view was great and the location was perfect. Nice quiet street not too far from Dupont Circle and great walking distance to everything you want to see while staying in an adorable neighborhood. Breakfast was good and staff was highly friendly and helpful.

room service erratic .. had to keep asking for coffee milk and water . no bath mat one day. room wasn’t cleaned one day … we had to go to reception and ask . No outdoor space to relax.

I think the room was really more designed for men than women. The sink was a pedestal sink. There was nowhere to put things like make up, tooth brushes, tooth paste, hair brush, etc. In the next place we stayed, there was a small glass shelf above the pedestal sink that was perfect for that purpose. It would be nice if they added somewhere to put toiletries.

Our room was lovely. It was fairly small but had a king size bed and we didn't stay there much. The amenities were good. The decor was perfect for a professional.

The prices they charge are random. They are trying to overcharge, check your bill. They will deduct 100$ per night! as a guarantee and they charge a hotel fee(!) per night that is absurd. Apart from that, my stay was great

The only criticism was that the room was not as pictured, as a king deluxe suite. However, that may have more to do with booking.com.

The staff was exceptional. The restaurant was fabulous and enjoyable. My husband and I will be happy to return. We had a lovely stay.

Minibar position was odd and too up more space than it needed to. Air conditioning was quite loud (to brits unused to such things) and gave us both dry throats but I imagine that's not an issue if you're used to such things.

The hotel was in a lovely area and very well staffed. The room itself was somewhat small and the furnishing choices were... odd. The minibar was not so mini and was positioned about half-way up the room so it took up a lot of space. No other issues. The room was mostly bed and not much else but overall a great room and an excellent hotel. Would stay there again.

Our last visit was a bum, though. Informed the front desk that we will extend another day, and the lady agreed. Only to be told several days later that this was not possible as hotel was fully booked. Had to transfer to pricier place on our last day.

Room with kitchenette is spacious, all spic and span, room cleaners did their job well, staff are courteous. Special mention to Solomon, who is reason why we consider Lyle as second home when in DC. Safe community and near to foreign embassies. Access to 7-11 and Safeway for convenience.
