Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pool was very cold, too cold to swim. The king bed was well worn, so much so it was uncomfortable and probably is in need of replacement. For as much as I paid I was not expecting these issues.

The location was easy in and out and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.

That the TV's in my suite didn't work properly. Green hue on screen. The only channel that worked was ESPN. I had to use my Netflix account and after a while that didn't work either. I told staff when I checked out and they apologized but did not offer any compensation.

Our bathroom door didn’t close — needs fixing.
The King room bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a couch in the room. Also enjoyed the Starbucks cafe.

Imagine driving 3.5 hours and walking into a Hotel Lobby to check in at 9pm and 50 of your friends greet you with a "Happy Birthday cheer!" Followed by a Hotel worker (Main Desk) yelling back to "keep it down or else she's going to call the police and have them arrested"..Followed by telling one of our 30 parents staying at the hotel, "to go f--k themselves". You can't make this shit up, bc if I had it on video I'd be Tic Tok famous..

Advertised a restaurant, but couldn't use it because they hadn't received shipment of food. Restaurant is a misleading word when you look at the menu of what we could have ordered. More like a diner. No hot tub (I thought there was one listed in the description). See above for breakfast. Staff was nice, but not usually at the front desk. They came quickly when we were there, but it's strange to walk in and not see anyone.
Didn't make breakfast on time - would love a later option for those who don't get up early. Room was nice, liked the couch for seating.

Rooms are cleaned any other day. So, if you stay for two nights you won't have any room clean service.

Some small details that typically most hotels miss. Although the cleaning staff were just as cordial and willing to assist, they may wish to add cleaning the a/c vents in the room, wiping the lamp bases, pulling hair out of shower drain. With regard to the patio (which is a really nice refuge), removing the seat cushion and cleaning out the accumulation of leaves and occasional bug remnants would make the space perfect. Otherwise, we are very pleased with the overall experience. Blessings, Ron & Theresa

Beds, pillows, bathroom and mirror should better!
My family has stayed at this Courtyard Marriott several times over the years, mostly for its location. They’ve updated some rooms, but not all, so we never know if we’re going to get the outdated bathroom with a heavy swinging door and plain mirror, or something a bit better. The pool reeks of bleach. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, which I like, but other family members would prefer free coffee. The beds and pillows could use upgrading. Our first floor room was too noisy, with guests entering nearby rooms very late at night. Nothing terrible, but a mixed experience, for sure!
