The room had a very strong musty/closed-off smell. • The sheets had the same unpleasant smell. • The first room we were assigned had carpet and, unfortunately, a cockroach walking on the bed to welcome us. We requested a room change, and thankfully, the new room didn’t have carpet, which was better. However, the musty smell was still present, even though the unit appeared clean. • The front desk clerk, although polite, told us that our two credit cards were declined, which we knew wasn’t true since our bank notifies us of any declined transactions. It seemed like he just preferred we pay with debit. If he had said that upfront, we would have used debit from the start. That said, he was quick to personally check and resolve the issue with the room change, which we appreciated. • The pool was dirty and had a sign from the health department stating it was unsafe to use. The pool equipment was broken, and the surrounding fence was damaged and bent. • The breakfast didn’t match the photos at all. We tried it on the first day but ended up eating elsewhere the next day. • The musty smell was also very strong on the towels, sheets, and blankets. They looked clean but were heavily affected by the odor.

I liked that the room didn’t have carpet, which allowed me to clean the floor again myself and helped reduce the strong musty smell. The location was convenient, and I appreciated the electronic keypad entry using a code, very practical and secure.

Cockroaches and ants in the bathroom. The sink had been caulked multiple times but still had big gaps/cracks. The Kleenex box was still in the dispenser but the box was empty. Sketchy internet.

The hotel is in a very dangerous area. One morning we woke up and the police and search and rescue were swarming all over the parking lot looking for a dead body in the area and then that same afternoon everything was on lock down because there was a deadly shooting next door and the shooter was on the loose. The night we arrived there was a group of about 6 people who were clearly on some strong drugs arguing in the street. We only stayed because we couldn't find another hotel at the last minute. They only put 3 towels in the room for 4 people and would not give you more unless you brought your dirty towels down to the front desk. The pillows were old and worn out and the front desk wouldn't let you get more. The refrigerator in our room was leaking water all over the floor and the lamps didn't all have bulbs. I knew we were getting a budget hotel but I still expected better than this. Also the pool was not working. I will never stay here again. Did not feel safe with our kids at this facility.

There had been repirs to the room that were not well done. The transition strip at the carpet was put in with drywall screws and would scrape your feet on the way to the bathroom. The room smelled like wet dog.

They office and cleaning staff were great to work with. The water pressure in the shower was suprisingly good.

At most other Days Inns we get at least a sit down free breakfast with juice. The water took forever to get hot. The location was ok but heard some angry people outside our door and we were a little nervous about that. The place needs to have a lot more light at night. Didn't feel save walking around the building to get ice which was out of ice the entire time we were there. How hard is it to have ice available? Probably will never stay at this Days inn again.

Noise from people outside at night disturbing my sleep. When I checked in I was assigned a room and given a key card and when I opened the door the room was a mess and occupied, which was very disturbing. The floors is of the room they gave me were so dirty the bottoms of my feet were black.
