Shower head to low and weak water pressure. Bathroom light outside bathroom. Key carð kept deactivating had to get new ones twice. Breakfast quality very poor.

Bed was great quiet area some noisy guests.

Tired room. Needs upgrading. Especially the bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor. Sliding-door to "verandah", facing towards the back of the building, could not be locked,basically given anyone access to our room. Reaction when reported to reception: "Oh that has been fixed." But it wasn't, one jolt on the door handle from the outside and the door was open.

Only a 10-minute drive from Hearst Castle Visitor Center.

Wi-Fi signal was too weak to reach our room at the far South end of the 2d floor to do any meaningful activity. Sadly after last renovation the posted sign (Tesla parking only) disappeared so sometimes inattentive non-Tesla drivers take the spot blocking the charger port.

Our original king room had to freezer so we got quick upgrade to a bigger room with a sofa. We stay in this hotel regularly since 2018 when it was Days Inn due to complimentary Tesla destination charger.

Swamp cooler. Bathroom needs renovations. Parking lot needs pressure washing, so it looks clean. The steps need moping. The carpet in the hallway needs deep cleaning or replacement. Ice machine on the first floor looks broken. Breakfast was decent, not a great variety. We stayed here to be close to Hearst Castle and Cambria. This was a last minute hotel change, because the one across the street was NASTY! I wouldn't stay here again.

Still needs updating to be a Comfort Inn. The sink in our room was cracked. The carpet in the halls and staircase were filthy.

Across the pacific coast highway from the ocean along with several other hotels and restaurants. Inexpensive but effective location for visiting Hearst Castle and viewing the elephant seals.

If you’re on the ground floor bring noise canceling headphones. Walls are very thing and we had kids jumping around all night above us. Also the cleaner smell was awful. Needed to air out the room the whole day when we arrived.

Dedicated tesla destination charger parking spot was constantly occupied by gas-powered cars blocking access to charging cable. Apparently, this was due to lack of a sign "Tesla parking only" that was there before but was removed during remodeling and never put back.

Everything was fine!

Newly remodeled rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. Decent free breakfast with sausage, eggs, toast & muffins, milk and cereal, fresh fruit, waffle maker and, of course, coffee and orange juice. Looks like the front desk guy does everything including the breakfast. Very nice gentleman, quick check-in and promptly brought us a remote for the huge flat screen TV. All in all the best value on the Central Coast!

Steps up to the rooms

The room was clean and spacious with a fridge freezer and microwave and coffee machine. The view was lovely from the window over the sea. The staff were very friendly and there was complimentary breakfast, which was nice. They also allowed us to leave our luggage in our room whilst we went on our tour at Hearst Castle which was very helpful and above and beyond what we expected.
