Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Staff were not always at the desk, requiring the use of the bell. Even when there, they were a little slow at checking us out. The pool was very loud, from everywhere near by. The breakfast area was rather small.
The room was nice and mostly clean. The pool was large, but right next to our room, making for a lot of noise. The air conditioner was very loud, no matter the setting. There was coffee available in the room, but also in the breakfast area. They had a standard continental breakfast plus eggs, sausage, and waffles.

Just what I said above says it all.
The room was nice, but the closet door did not close the way a door should close, and thought housekeeping would have cleaned the room and make up the beds when we were out gone , Nope that didn’t happen. We stayed 2 nights. Maybe I should have asked at the front desk. If they do that. I guess I assume of housekeeping did that, I stayed at a lot of hotels and the room was always redone when we were out shopping or whatever we did,

Call in advance to make sure the pool is fixed correctly if you want to swim. That doesn't mean it will stay correct until morning though.

Pool was closed off with caution tape Sunday morning, so kids were left to use hot tub. No reason for closure given. Mattress cover was clearly very dirty.
Easy to book at last minute at a reasonable price. Staff were very nice.

Wall was super thin, not like other AmericInn where the walls were more soundproof. Floor was thin also. The room underneath complain that we were playing ball when it was just us walking around. We had to stop walking and just lay in bed. Bed wasn't comfortable.

While in the pool, there were lots of very rough kids, and nothing was said to them. There was one child who would not leave our kids alone. The child kept pulling my son under who can't swim and inappropriately touching my daughter and her friends. We had our kids stay near us, and the child would follow. The child would splash us and was very disrespectful. The parents wouldn't do anything until we started yelling at the child ourselves. There were many other families in the pool with their Littles and could not believe nothing was being done and how rough this child was playing.
Anything that we needed for our room, we were able to ask the front desk for, and they gave items to us.

The pool seemed like it needed a little pressure washing inside the edges, but I’m sure it was just normal buildup. The floor in the pool area got very slippery. But all in all it was pretty clean and very nice..
Everything was great. The room was beautiful. Everything was clean in the room. The staff was wonderful. I would stay there again.

The smoke detector needed new batteries. I told them before we headed out at 3p and the manager said maintenance would change them. 2a - it went off again every 5-10min. It was horrible. Especially having to be up at 530a for a competition - barely slept. I mentioned the smoke detector again to the gal at breakfast time. She apologized. By 2p, the manager called to apologize & seemed very sincere. Offered 30% off, but I definitely got far less refunded. Ah, well. I guess anything is better then nothing. Great location for the hotel- No other complaints. I'd still go back.

I did feel that our rooms were not vacuumed as well as they should have been. I only found this when I picked up something that I had dropped, and retrieved what I dropped along with several strands of hair, that were not mine.
I booked 2 rooms. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was decent, pool & hot tub were clean and set at comfortable temps. The staff were very accommodating to all issues that were found. ( Room 1 - Fire alarm was falling off the ceiling - immediately fixed, Room 2 - smelled of cigarette/ashtrays, we were given a different room right away.)

Toilet didn't flush, toilet water kept rising. Staff came to plunge it, but didn't work. He said he was going to have the maintenence guy come fix it but the side never showed. Didn't get to use it the whole night.
The room was nice and comfortable and the staff was nice.

Breakfast area was small for the amount of guests. Could have more tables to sit. Breakfast bar could be larger. Room was updated but still had dirty, older curtains.
