Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was clean and comfortable but the toilet seat was a little wobbly and the bed was comfy but could use new pillows. I was glad a brought one from home..

Although it was clean, the room needed maintenance.
The view was nice from the room on the end. Close to Treasure Bay casino, and a waffle house in the front yard😀

I didn't like being told when I booked that I would overlook the pool on a balcony, and once I checked in, I was on the first floor, no balcony, a patio,instead. I was not very clean either.

My vehicle had broken down on the way to the inn. After communicating with a friend and a mechanic, I decided to Uber the 8 miles to my vehicle. In case I had difficulty returning in time to get more sleep, I took my baggage. I explained this to the night auditor, who asked me to loan him some money. Finally, my vehicle was arranged for and after 5 am I returned to find the night auditor had resold my room. He also neglected to give me my cash deposit back. I came back to the inn once more before noon to get my deposit back and told the operator/manager/owner lady what had transpired. They didn't see another client on the books, didn't offer me any percentage of a return or discount upgrade on a future stay. What a waste of money.
Clean room and bed, spacious, fairly quiet. Check in was friendly and accommodating.

The jacuzzi tub in our suite didn't work, and the pillows were definitely lacking. The pool was nice but children needed more supervision there were large floats that took up the small space with little regard to those not using them and another small group entered the pool with leaves all over their feet making a less than desirable atmosphere-but thats not the hotels fault.
The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. The employee working the desk at check in was fantastic and easy to work with even with our last minute booking.

The furniture is VERY old, the carpet was pulling up, and our room had a mildew smell.
Very close to the beach, we were able to walk straight across the road to get to it.

No breakfast. But Waffle house was in same parking lot. We did need to have a shower curtain to be added. My husband changed 3 lightbulbs. We did wipe down everything prior to use. Overall. I enjoyed the location. Not a bad place. Yes, updates are needed on the decor!

The chemical smell of the 1st room.
When I first arrived, I was on the smoking side. Big mistake...the chemical smell from cleaning was overwhelming. The manager was super accommodating and switched my room. Even gave me a free upgrade. That room was soooooo much better.

It wasn’t very clean and the bed was not comfortable at all. Towels were not switched out at all during the stay. We stayed in this same location a couple of years ago and it was much better then.
We loved the location. We also loved that there was a Waffle House within walking distance.

Property is definitely outdated.
Our original room king suite ocean view was flooded upon arrival. The people at the desk apologized and upgraded us to the 2-bedroom cottage which was amazing. Stay in the cottage if you can!

The floors were so dirty everyone bottom of their feet was black and sticky. The shower was broken. The fire alarm started going off all night in middle of the night. The neighbors were fighting constantly.
The inn was in a good location. Staff was friendly.
