I generally prefer a room with a tub and shower, as I tend to enjoy a bath sometime during my stay, especially when I have been hiking. My room had just a shower which was nicely sized. Just a little quibble!

Breakfast consists of coffee, tea, and cocoa and juice. The Inn provides a refrigerator in the lobby stocked with yogurt, bottled water, and fresh fruit. Packaged muffins and Danish are also available. I found what they provided sufficient for my morning needs.

Breakfast room was very small and crowded. Walls were very thin and there was a lot of space under the door so I was awakened in the morning by everyone walking in the hallway.

Loved the location on the river walk! Also loved the jacuzzi which was available for private use 30 minutes at a time (you sign up for a specific time).

Breakfast was lite but very well done. Location is very close to downtown...easy walk to most all the restaurants. The staff was very friendly with good advice about the area. Very nice sitting area on the river behind the hotel.

Wish the rooms had their own microwaves, irons, ironing boards, and plugs. I would call the free breakfast a “grab and go”.

Newly remodeled rooms and clean. The little pond behind the property was nice as well. The staff was great! Helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

*need a full length mirror or just another mirror in the room. *need a sign outside the sauna/jacuzzi room- “occupied”-“please reserve your personal time.”- or something like that- this way guests thirty minute reserved relaxation spa time is not interrupted by other guests. We had someone come in on two different spa reservations days! When we realized it was “our time” we did say something, politely. 😏 A posted sign on the glass door would be helpful.

Breakfast was great! The tables are a little too high- and the chairs are awkward because they are deep, making the table higher…possibly need easier to move, higher chairs- little cramped. But we still enjoyed our delicious breakfast experience- and talking to other guests was enjoyable!

Cute stay on the main drag. Loved the picnic tables and lounge chairs behind the hotel. Very nice spot to eat outside or walk the river walk.

Room was pleasant although "view of the mountains" turned out to be view of the cannabis store next door. Afternoon receptionist very pleasant. Breakfast was standard hotel chain-type fare. Easy access to River Walk and short walk to town.

River Walk Inn has a lot of attention to detail: a light strip above the bed for nighttime reading, extremely clean rooms, a bathroom faucet that lights up at night, ceramic mugs for in-room coffee, a sitting areas by windows and a beautiful seating area outside near the river. My daughter and I also loved the little reading nook under the stairs. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come here the next time we're in Pagosa - it's everything you want in a hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly and nicely located.

I didn’t sleep well for some reason and it might’ve been the mattress. It was rather squeaky every time I got out of bed and it won’t my sister up I think.

It’s a family run hotel, and the staff, at least one of whom was part of the family, was very helpful and friendly. This is rare to find these days. I also like that it backed up to a little park on the estuary at the river. A very nice place to take a walk.

Noisy, large gap below door can hear everything going on outside room in the hallway, walking,cleaning,talking ect. Breakfast area extremely small and cramped.

Beds were comfortable, location was great! Next to the river with a lovely seating area. And walking distance to restaurants. Extremely clean.
