Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room was dark.
I loved the vintage vibe of the place. I also loved the proximity to the creek. I went everyday to do a cold plunge. One of the best features was the sauna in the backyard. I realize it is not run by the hotel but it is an enormous added bonus to the property and I used this everyday and it would make me want to return. I also appreciated the simple breakfast in the morning it was perfect to be able to grab a banana and a coffee then go for a hike. Comfortable bed!!

This is a unique historical property close to walking and biking path along the river. They serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning which you can take to your room on a tray if you like. It’s also close to numerous hiking trails

So many great things! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable for me, my husband, and our 1-year old, and had everything we needed, as well is a charming old-fashioned feel. The location was also amazing for us, as it's located right across from Eben B. Fine park, which had a nice little playground and a good spot for baby to splash around in Boulder Creek. You're also right along a running/bike path so you can jog up into the canyon or straight into town along the creek. The breakfast was also great - with lots of options and a very homey feel and tasty coffee :) I'd definitely recommend a stay at Foot of the Mountain motel!

United StatesOur a/c was broken so it was a bit hot.
The location was excellent- we could walk from our cabin across the park to the creek and cold plunge, hike on multiple trails, and walk into Boulder and get dinner on Pearl Street. The cabin was cozy and quirky, the backyard sauna and cold plunge were fun, and we loved our time here- will definitely be back again, for longer!

United StatesWonderful, classic property. Incredible location for Pearl Street and Boulder Creek. Very clean and with great amenities. Very kind staff - allowed me an early check-in! UPDATE: I have now stayed here about 4 times with 3 more to go and I LOVE this place. The staff, especially Jeremy, is fantastic. The breakfast is simple but filling and I always look forward to it. I am using Foot as my home away from home while on contract and I just adore it. I can't wait to come here every weekend. It is truly a little slice of heaven.

United StatesHonestly can’t think of anything! We had such a great time here and would love to come back.
The location was so nice. It was great to be just outside of the city so we could feel like we were out in nature, but also to be close enough to go out and see what Boulder has to offer. We loved the close proximity to the park and to trails. The aesthetics of the place was so perfect for a mountain getaway. The exterior was so cute and the interior fit the vibe perfectly as well. All amenities worked well. The breakfast was so nice to have and it was great to have all the outdoor seating so we could eat and enjoy the view at the same time. Staff was always very pleasant and helpful!

Czech RepublicWe only stayed one night, but wish we had more time! The rooms were clean and charming, with a little seating area right outside — a lovely touch. The motel is set in nature, away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a few minutes’ drive from the center of town. Peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

United StatesNo microwave in room
It was a cute vintage motel perfectly situated for riding your bike or walking to town next to Boulder Creek .Cozy, and the breakfast was good. Hard boiled eggs and a variety of cereal and breads, with fruit and juices as well as coffee and tea. I loved that Ember and Ice were in the back meadow. That is a wood fired sauna and three cold plunge barrels. A fantastic way to ease the aches and pains if a hike or bike ride.

United StatesAll the staff were kind and helpful. However one person working front desk on May 21st in the morning was very rude and literally acted like a drill Sargent to me while I was trying to get coffee. I walked out of the office and just didn't get my breakfast or coffee. This lady was too rude and my peace is important. The rest of the staff were amazing. Maybe this particular employee needs some additional training on customer service.
I loved the location. Easy to get to places of interest like Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado Springs. Comfy beds and breakfast items very appreciated. Rustic and comfy!

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn’t like. If we had to be picky, I suppose it’s quite an old-fashioned motel, so don’t expect all Mod cons just a simple American experience.
The motel is in an amazing location at the edge of town and right up against the mountains. There’s an easy walk or cycle to downtown, a beautiful creek with swimming just over the road and 2 great short hikes start from nearby. While we were there, there was also a mobile sauna and cold plunge pools in the field behind the motel that were free for motel guests to use. For an English family this felt like a really authentic old-style American experience. We also appreciated the friendly staff, continental breakfast and hot drinks in the office.
