Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Booking.com and this hotel did not communicate with each other. I reserved 2 rooms, only 1 was reserved when we got there. Also, rooms had a musty smell. The other couple's room was worse and they ended up moving to another room.
Super close to the airport. We were just there 1 night.

The person checking us in did not know the directions on how to get to the airport and did not offer to find out. Her response was that she heard someone say it was only 15 minutes away. Pocket door to the bathroom was very noisy to close. Clock in room had alarm set for 12:00 midnight that went off during our stay. No individual lights on night stands. The TV had sound on only some stations. The staff said they had been working on getting that fixed. Only two stories but no elevator and no one offered to carry our bags to the second floor (my wife and I are 74). Room a/c and facility systems outside of our room were noisy.
the only semi positive comment is that it was a ten-minute drive to airport

This hotel is old and very outdated. And don't stay here if you have a disability because there is no elevator. The walls are paper thin so we heard screaming kids and crying babies and even someone using the bathroom. Not the toilet flushing which we also heard, but the actual act. The shower head was so rusted that I didn't trust using it. I took a sink bath.
The staff were wonderful. Everything seemed clean.

Great Location, great staff, great value Very clean! Greeted us with fresh, hot coffee and were at the front desk when we checked out! Perfect for an overnight stay near the airport!

Dated. Dirty. Small and Expensive. Shower was not a shower.

The photo gave the impression that this property was much nicer than it is. There is no elevator to the second floor and they were not able to accommodate my request for the first floor. In need of repairs and new bedspreads.

This was absolutely the worst price to value I have ever paid for a hotel room. I don't think this problem is so much just a Travelodge issue... in Fort Myers all hotels are way over priced as well. At $160.00 the room was tiny, the bed only a queen, the bathroom was tiny, the TV was tiny, a fridge was lacking as well as other ammenities. When I asked to check in one hour early (because I arrived in Fort Myers earlier than I expected) I was told... "Sure! But that will be another $20.00". I said I would come back later. My wife and I have crossed the country four times in the past two years and traveled extensively throughout central America and especially Europe staying at many hotels. This is a $100-110 a night hotel AT BEST! Again... all hotels in Fort Myers are overpriced. Fort Meyers IS NOT Monaco or Paris or London and this Travelodge is at best a 3 star out of 5.
The staff were pleasant and the room was clean. Beyond that, I can't say much about what I liked.

Every bit needs not be upgraded. There are knicks in the wood frames, the comforter was soiled, the toilet was tricky to flush (you had to do it twice).

No more breakfast since corona but this is known. Furnitures and shower/toilet need an update. Carpet is worn but passably clean. Double bed was small for 2. My wife wanted to sit outside and enjoy a bit of sun but there was nothing but a stone bench under a tree so she had to sit on the boardwalk of the parking, not really enjoyable, I asked for a chair but that was not possible. I think the prices in the US are very expensive for the poor quality you get. I will not go back !
It’s fair for the price but nothing more. Location is perfect for food, many food chains at walking distance. At reception area you can have coffee or tea all day, as well as in the room. Staff was friendly.
