Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a bit of hair clumped in the tub. Very dusty behind the nightstand and along floors against walls. Only noticed the buildup because i had to plug in the phone.
Comfortable. Hot water. Reasonable. Clean beds and towels. Simple but nice little breakfast

The property appeared nearly vacant upon arrival, during stay and departure. Ice machine was Out of Order. No blow dryer in room but made available upon request.
Check in easy despite a last minute modification. Spacious room, clean and quiet. Located 5 minutes from the event I was attending. Simple cold breakfast with coffee/tea available in lobby.

Very tired looking generally. It has that feel of a cheap motel, but it's not cheap in price. The bathroom was a bit grubby and old and small. Its definitely overpriced in my book, but we couldn't find much else cheaper. It was just about acceptable. Didn't feel like money well spent. Breakfast was pretty terrible, the coffee weak, lots of sugary donuts in plastic packets and pop tarts, but at least they had bran flakes so we could eat something moderate healthy. Staff were friendly though. The bed sheets were clean and mattresses OK.
Good location, nice and quiet, just outside town. Cheaper than a philadelphia hotel / motel and ok to drive in for a visit. Phoenixville seems like a charming little town.

Just needs to be updated. Carpeting in bedroom needs replacing, Brighter lighting in the room,
It is an old building, looks like a former nursing home. Big rooms, clean, needs new carpeting, and bathroom update. But everything is clean and comfortable. For the price a good deal. Very quiet. Breakfast is nothing to speak of but not an issue or concern for us. Will stay there again.

Entrance light into room was out which presented a problem as it was dark outside. Bathroom tub was old and off putting. Room was functional but not great. It needs updating.

No coffee maker in room, no iron or ironing board in room, ice maker was broken, fridge in room was freezing my food. I had to buy ice for my dupixent shot and keep it in my cooler so it would not go bad before thursday.

It was some prepackaged gas station style cuisine, maybe technically breakfast, but didn't even include individual drinks. The room had a musty smell and there was stains in places. It was dated and showing all of its age. Beds were not comfortable, limited pillows offered, no blankets only very thin sheets and a comforter. AC was very loud. A cricket or more that one came into the room at some point and kept us awake for hours. We suspected it was inside the walls. The locks on the doors did not seem study, no deadbolts. Showerhead was of the dollar store variety, the sink faucet was badly positioned with hardware from 30+ years ago. Carpet and wallpaper looked like it was put in place in the 70s or 80s.
The TV was fine, check in was easy, they had two free water bottles in the room.
