Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe renovation of the rooms is nicely done and aesthetically pleasant at first. Until you notice the details and quality of the materials. The bathroom is very outdated, the linens in general are poor quality and rather aged. All other amenities such as coffee machine, toilet paper, toiletries are rather low-grade. We didn't get room service even after we asked the housekeeper in the corridor for it. We had a double room and were only given two (very aged) towels. Valet parking is outrageously expensive: $50 per night. A compulsory 18% is inconspicuously added to all bills and then a "Tip" line by the total.
Location is great, beach access and beach services are excellent. Bakery and ice cream parlour on site are really good. Restaurant is good and room service quick and decently priced for the area standards. Bar is nicely located right by the entrance and blends naturally and harmoniously with the lobby. Plenty of well maintained elevators so you never have to wait long to get to your room. The main entrance from the street is beautifully maintained, with luscious vegetation and gorgeous landscaping. Lobby restrooms are really nice and always impeccable.

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast was sub par. You are forced between a buffet of stale foods and a menu of select items that will take far too long before it arrives. I wanted to spend my final morning by the pool eating breakfast and made it on time (8am). It was 10am when I decided that would stop waiting for a side of breakfast protein. When we checked out for my oh and yogurt, the side of protein was still somewhere in the ether. My first morning at breakfast was similar, although, I had the luxury of waiting. I ordered the egg sandwich (something I actually enjoy) just for it to be absolutely subpar. You’re better off going to their cafe for coffee and sandwiches, but by then, everyone has figured that out and will be in the line with you.
Great room, on hand valet. Location to the beach and access to pools, heated jacuzzi and beach chairs. Lovely area and comfortable room.

United KingdomThe floor of our room was sandy, there were dried contacts on the bedside table from the last guest. The corners and things were messy, it wasn't super clean and that is very imp to me.
I love the pool area and beach and the dining options on site. The staff is very kind and I feel comfortable. The views are wonderful and I loved the balcony. We have been here before and I would still go again. I wish the two beds were queens though, I have kids who come in the bed and full is rough.

United States of AmericaThe parking is $50 per night, borderline extortion. The open age pools were very crowded and had no open chairs.
Rooms are nicely sized, clean and comfortable. Being right next to the beach, and having its own chairs / umbrellas is also very nice.

United KingdomCleanliness. The bedside lamp - chrome - was really dirty (I guess spilled drinks or food). Also the chrome in the bath would do with some polishing.... otherwise all good - easy to make it great!

CanadaWe had two rooms and one of the rooms (1016) both bathrooms had something wrong with the hot water. Literally waited 20mins for water to warm up and it was still cool. I had read this in one of the reviews and it sounds to be persistent issue. While all staff work hard and were very nice, I noticed staff shortages led our rooms to be cleaned right before they finish their shift around 4pm. This was consistent and some days we decided not to have the room cleaned as housekeeping would be coming in to clean the room at 4pm when we are getting ready to go out after the beach. In addition, while staff at the beach were very nice, at times people felt rushed as they start putting the chairs away around 3pm while the beach closed at 5pm. Lastly, it would have been nice to be able to park on our own rather than relying on the valet as it created long waits despite valet staff doing their best to ensure a timely service.
Great location. Loved that it was beachfront and staff available at the beach for chairs/umbrellas. Cute cafe at the hotel which was convenient as there aren’t coffee shops/restaurants at a walking distance to the hotel. Loved the breakfast (picked from menu/not the buffet) at the hotel restaurant. Great gym, overlooking the Bay, and they offer yoga which I am hoping to try next time.

AustraliaThe rooms are very run down. The shower is over the bath very low water pressure takes ages for the water to warm up. The mattresses are worn and the bathroom amenities are of a very low standard. The rooms need a major makeover. Air conditioner very noisy. Tried another room they are all the same.
The property is in a good location. Has a lovely promenade where you can go for walks and runs. The pool area and beach have great facilities and is very convenient having the beach so close to the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful but not always able to resolve issues.

United KingdomThe room itself was lovely but it is clear the bathrooms have not been updated, so they looked out of place and dated with the general design of the room - the bathroom was not shown on Booking.com When asking the concierge to book us a taxi and he was not helpful and made it seem as if it were too much hassle which led us to book our own taxi whilst he was standing grumbling. Having not been to Miami before we hadn't really realised how vast Miami is! This is no fault of the hotel as it clearly states its location but this is worth bearing in mind if you have never travelled there before as you will need to get a taxi or the free Trolley service.
Lovely large room with view of the sea, great gym facility! The team in the dining room were absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to be of help.

United KingdomThe check-out and credit card billing need to be improved, it's otherwise so confusing. No water on the last day of our stay. Beach caddies struggled with the amount of patrons on the last two days of good weather (under staffed).
We have stayed many times at GBH and this Christmas visit met our expectations. Rooms are a good size with good amenities. The hotels location suits us and the beach is one of the best in the area.

Full hotel got downstairs, there was no fire, but no one of the team even told it's fine and the guests could go upstairs.

United States of AmericaI did not like that the floors in our room were broken and I tripped over them quite often as it was right at the entrance to the room. The room had not been swept before we go there, and was dirty. the walk in shower door did not close so the bathroom essentially flooded during a shower.
I liked the location, the pool area was nice as well and the walk to the beach was easy, the complimentary beach umbrellas were nice as well as the staff who brought us drinks.

CanadaCompared to sister hotel in Surfside is is a downgrade. Was not offered champagne or fruit at reception. Multiple aspects of room were not functioning, fan in bathroom obviously longstanding malfunction as metal was rusting on doorframe and pot lights. No lightbulbs in picture light, deck dirty etc No handtowel hook very off in a 5 star hotel No robe Was given complimentary late checkout but feel that I should have been offered a voucher or something more. Staff responded immediately though.
The area around pool/beach area is very congenial and beach is lovely.
