You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Getting out of the parking lot is difficult when there is traffic.
Location right off the highway was great. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Convenient to a myriad of restaurants.

The king suite did not have the door between the living room and bedroom or ac vents in the bedroom - pictures don’t show there is no door

Unfortunately, pool was not accessible due to renovations. It would have been great to know that in advance. Only single-use cutlery at breakfast. Trash is not being separated. Improvements to protect the environment can and should be made!
All great. Breakfast included. Very clean rooms. The hotel currently goes through renovations, so everything becomes an upgrade and we enjoyed our newly renovated room! The construction works did not impact our stay. Only through the day noise is possible.

The bathroom was run down and although there were very few people staying there, we were put in a room directly under other people, so we could hear their noise. The bed was too firm for me, but I like a softer mattress. We had a dog, which costs an additional $75 non-refundable fee. The online description said “pet friendly” and although we marked that we had a pet, we were not notified of that fee until we checked in.

We need and request a Handicap room and are glad when they are available. Handicap bathroom needs updating. Sink was slow draining. A zero gravity recliner with a lift assist would be a great option for those who must sleep in an adjustable bed at home for their disabilities. The bed was too soft for me and those who may prefer firmer support. These are 'observations', not complaints. I never hesitate to return to the Front Royal Hampton Inn.
The staff is courteous and helpful. The breakfast is a great start to the day. The rooms are nice and clean though a bit worn. Like that electrical outlets are on both sides of the bed for devices and C-pap users. Love the pet friendly accommodations as we travel with a Service Dog. The location is great. Happy to see renovations are underway which will make for an even more enjoyable stay for future returns to the area.

Good basic hotel buffet breakfast but the seating area was quite small which meant it felt overcrowded at times.
It was easy to get to the hotel from Dulles Airport and it gave us easy access to the Skyline Drive the next day. Everything you need for an overnight stop.

Building is very very old, needs to be renovated. There was a draft in the window. Old tiles in the bathroom and the old toilet was so low! I have been to better Hampton Inn hotels. Disappointing. Suggestion: To be more environmental friendly I think hotels in general should start using reusable dishes and glasses, like in other countries.

Exterior construction did not allow use of front door and therefore parking after 7 am. As we were handicapped, loading the car was a challenge.
