We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe A/C was very noisy and cycled on and off constantly. The walls are thin, and just before midnight the folks living in the complex started talking very loudly and slamming doors. There was a lot of 'stuff' stored outside between the office and the guest rooms. Although the check-in staff apologized for the stuff, it still looked very junky.
The room was very clean. There was an ice machine. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

United StatesIn order to sign in, the lobby isn’t open. You have to ring a bell and they open a small window a few inches. You cannot see the person because of a glare and it is hard to hear because you are standing on the main street. This was at 4:00 in the afternoon in 98 degree heat. When asked about this , the attendants reply was”I only work here”. We are an older couple 75 and 71.

United StatesThe office was closed. The inside of the office was in total disarray with a mattress on the floor. There was a buzzer on a window . The office person opened the window wide enough to slide my ID and papers back and forth. There were boxes of supplies directly outside of our room stacked to the ceiling. I think they were in the process of remodeling but it looked very junky. Our room had no interior lock.
