We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesMain lobby doors were filthy. I expect more from a Hilton. Room wasn’t super clean. Small stain on one of bed comforters, mirrors on closet and mirror in bathroom were dirty. The staff was just “okay”. Guy at front desk was nice enough I guess. But we were in the elevator and wondering which floor was the lobby (it was labeled “G”, not “L”, and there front desk workers in the elevator with us, and did not even tell us which floor was the lobby when they clearly heard us talking about it. The cleaning ladies were nice, however.

United StatesI was quite disappointed with the noise from the AC. It seemed either too old or poorly maintained. The constant noise made my second night far from peaceful. I was surprised there was no toothpaste in the bathroom. This should be the bare minimum for a 3-star hotel.
The hotel is well located, with a parking garage on the property. I also liked the bed; it was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and polite, even calling to check if everything was fine during my stay. They resolved any issues they could at their level.

PortugalIt is not clearly explained while booking through Booking that the property requires 50 USD as deposit on arrival, on top of the payment that they receive through the portal. So, far they have not returned mine after nearly 1 month, this despite multiple reminders through Booking and a phone call. I HOPE YOU WILL ACT NOW THAT IT IS PART OF YOUR REVIEW!! In general, the payment process is a bit messed up depending on whether you have paid via Booking or you pay at the property. This doesnt seem to be handled in a systematic way leading to frustration. Very dim lights at the room. Impossible to see properly in the middle of the room so I had to bring anything I needed to see properly to the bathroom where the light was stronger. During my stay of 2 nights and 3 days, they had to close the kitchen - so no breakfast was served - in one of the days. The announcement was made the evening for the next morning. At least they put papers under each room to announce. On another occasion, there was no hot water for 1/2 to 1 day so I had to take cold showers twice. Nobody bothered to inform claiming that this had happened in the middle of the night.
Proximity to the metro and allowing for luggage storage more than 24 hrs free of charge was a nice surprise and appreciated.

United StatesThere is no restaurant for lunch or dinner which is a big negative. The hallways could have better lighting and the room/bathroom could be cleaned a little better. Parking should be included with the price of the room, not an additional fee.
