I know they’re in the process of redoing some of the buildings, but ours just felt a little old. We were also there for five nights and never had anyone come in to take out the trash or give us fresh towels. Not a huge deal, but would’ve been nice. There was also recycling outside, which we utilized, but no cardboard recycling, which really piled up in our room.

Great property, really enjoyed the location and the visit overall. Beautiful setting, easily access many other attractions on Hawaii. Concierge desk (I talked to two people) was oustanding. They really knew their stuff and gave great recommendations for what to do on the island. The pool was great, too, and had a pretty good happy hour at the pool bar! The water filtration stand was a nice bonus.

Dated rooms. The rooms are not cleaned during the stay like in a normal hotel.

Good sized rooms for families. Full kitchen. Staff had quick response to replenish towels and toiletries. Great location. Can see turtles, whales right around the resort. Very nice grounds and pool. Easy to explore the whole island. Concierge helpful in booking activities to do.

Layout of building and entire resort is confusing Lack of good directional or building signage Dead ends in sidewalk that could have quickly gotten us from building 8 to 9. Only one elevator in building and was not working for part of our stay—reluctant to trust it. lots of walking.

The room was a bit on the old side, and the shower could use a detachable shower head, for kids coming back from the beach or a hike.

The room was big with all the neccessities for a family (kitchenware, washing machine, etc.). The facilities were also great - the pool was awesome and the hot tub was great. The staff was also great, and the hotel manager went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of.

The hot water maker broke for the building and we didn't have the hot water a whole day.

Outside walkway tiles should be "roughed up" to prevent slips and falls. Lock on my patio door was old--difficult to open and close. Glass soap dish in bathroom should be replaced by soap dispenser or non breakable soap dish. No grab bars in tubs or showers--all of this just makes sense to prevent injuries

I did not partake of the breakfast, nor any meals at the Pointe. I cooked all meals in my suite--which has a very nice kitchen and supplies. I am concerned about the safety of the complex, and noticed a few maintenance items which should be fixed--a broken vinyl blind in my kitchen, the hanging drapes/curtains were difficult to slide--like the slides needed to be cleaned and greased, and the tiles outside walkways are REALLY slippery--a real hazard for older people and kids running around.

We were on the bottom floor and we could hear people walking around or moving chairs upstairs. It woke us up. Soundproofing between floors would be nice. There was no where on site to get coffee early.

The location was great in Poipu Beach. The apartment was spacious and we got a two bedroom even though we booked a one bedroom.

Like many resorts and hotels, this one is showing it's age and lack of upkeep. It was frustrating to have to park so far from our unit. Staff was not that helpful or welcoming

Bellman didn’t show up when requested twice. Ended up making two trips ourselves. Elevator smelled very toxix. For price we paid we had maid service only once which was promised on a particular day and wasn’t available till after 3:45 when we had been out all day. Never had maid service that late in day. Poor management. Room very unattractive. Dining table still had blocks and foil around legs from carpet cleaning which made chairs to short and uncomfortable. Absolutely nothing in room Hawaiian style which was a downer.
