Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaEverything was really confusing getting around which took time to find the right elevator or floor to get on.
I loved all the kid activities and also how close to the beach our room was.

United States of AmericaThe rooms were average clean, but needs a deeper cleaning with dust on the walls in the bedroom, baseboards didn’t appear cleaned in a while and some areas in the bathroom. Converge area looked nice and clean. Pool deck, fencing, etc needs some help as it appears it is ready for some TLC at the caliber of the ocean front building with select rooms. Assume the bar and pool bar are never opened anymore. The staff at the building up the road that we stopped at on our way in by mistake were awesome and very helpful with not only getting us to our booked location, but sharing lots of info on the local area and the sea wall, strand, and the Moody’s area. When we got to our club buildings, the girls working were nice and friendly, but didn’t have a lot of info or seem to know a lot about the area like food, etc. so I imagine they may need a refresher or additional training to match the staff at your location back towards the seawall. Again, nice and polite, but just not well informed.
The select rooms were done tastefully which was a hit for my family and was very much enjoyed and loved the ocean front view. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were appreciated.

United States of AmericaCons listed above Pros: lots of space, comfortable beds, and enjoyed and used cooking appliances and cookware. Full kitchen asset. Didn't like that pictures on website are of the signature apartments across the street-- false advertisements!!! Deceitful!
Found like hair balls in bathroom and bedroom floor. Could've had extra bathroom tissue. No availability on 2nd floor-- too much walking for woman over 65 yrs old.

United States of AmericaBooking.com features two bedroom villas that are right on the beach. That is only their signature property and you do not have access to that if you are in the other villas. They also say there is a coffee bar and restaurant on site, but again it is only for signature guests and the coffee bar doesn’t open until 11 (which does not work for this coffee drinker). We specifically requested to be on the beach with direct beach access and was told by our booking agent that we would select our rooms upon arrival. We were put in the villas across the street on the 3rd floor with no elevators. We were across the street and had to drive and park to walk to the beach. None of this was the properties issue, this was all false advertising and misinformation from booking.com. The property manager was wonderful and gave us access to the signature areas which included a nice infinity pool, right on the beach. I would recommend booking directly through the property.
The villas were nice and comfortable

United States of AmericaWIFI... this sucked. I was in room 56 and pretty much had no signal to the Hotel WIFI. We had to tether from our phones. I would have liked to see a hard network port in the room. then I could connect a travel router and have all the internet I needed.
The room was nice, the elevator worked. The ice maker worked in the room. BIG BONUS.

United KingdomWas a good drive down into Galveston Town and quite far from main supermarket.
The complex and apartment were very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having the cafe and pool across the road was nice for the kids to play and husband to have a drink. Food and drink there was very reasonably priced and tasty. Was a nice touch with the Dove toiletries in the rooms. Hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, Conditioner & shower cream. Loved the free activities around the complex too.

United States of AmericaThe food at the bar was terrible. Was supposed to be flatbread and when the told me the size I said great, I’ll take 3. He didn’t tell us they were pizzas. The pepperoni was fine, a little undercooked. The buffalo pizza was completely undercooked and the chicken was gross. We threw it away.
The room and view was amazing! We enjoyed it and was very comfortable. We had 5 in our party.

United States of AmericaIt was 20 minutes away from all of the good restaurants, nowhere was available to Doordash from. I wish I had known that as we drove into town so that I could've picked something up to eat, rather than doing a 40 minute round trip to get some food. Definitely not the hotel's fault, but just something to keep in mind when traveling. :)
The room was spacious and clean and the staff were lovely. We enjoyed the big balcony and getting to look out at beautiful views of the beach and palm trees.

United States of AmericaThe sound insulation could be better. also there was a little humming noise of an AC unit. The path from a room to the pool goes through a building which could be chilly if you are wet. There are two staircases from the pool area to the ground to get to the beach but they were locked.
We really liked the hotel. We stayed in a signature building that is just on the beach. The room was spacious and had high ceiling. It had a big balcony with table and chairs, full kitchen and washer/dryer. Each bedroom had a bathroom. The master bedroom faced the ocean and had a shower with two showerheads plus a bathtub. The second bedrrom faced an internal bay with almost no obstacles. There was a great pool and a double level hot tub. There was a bar with drinks and snacks like pizza, flatbreads. The beach is very close and you can walk there on a wooden bridge which is a wheelchair accessible. The parking is under the building that mean it was shady. There is also a cafe across the road. Since it's a pretty remote hotel from Galveston there were almost nobody on the beach.
