Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast was good but it was a bit pricey for what it was. It’s usually included anytime I stay somewhere else with the same quality food. So I was a little disappointed over having to pay $12 and offered less choices than typical hotels. I wish there were more pillow options in our room, we only had soft pillows and I sleep with a cpap machine and a harder pillow would have been nice.
The check in was a breeze, the service was great, the rooms were clean and pretty comfortable. I felt safe and clean.

Only thing I'd change would be offering more towels in the room. I didn't call down to request more and im sure they would have accommodated. 4 minimum bath towels should always be left.
We were there for a short stay for a wrestling tournament. But the hotel was VERY busy with college soccer tournament. However didn't stop the staff from being friendly and keeping operations running smoothly. The pool was great, the workout area super nice, the bartender was super awesome and the room was super clean and comfortable. I will be back when in the area!

My mamaw is at st Mary’s and this property was no far from the hospital. It was very clean. Had breakfast on site and the staff were very nice

Appealing outside, very nice lobby area. Clean inside and outside. The room was wonderful, shower was wonderful with shampoo and body wash being provided was a bonus . Tv and sitting area perfect and bed was very comfortable.

Booking said our total charge was $166.88 including tax. We paid $193.37 with nothing extra. They said there was a $25.00 upcharge with Booking. Delta Hotel Barboursville, confirmation number 4288815283.

I really wish the ice machine on the 4th floor was working. I wish also that breakfast didn’t cost extra. I wish it wasn’t so hot in the pool area, it made leaving this area extremely cold to go back to the room.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The indoor pool was an absolute must, we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The front desk service was very friendly and accommodating.

We did get there a little before checkout time and our room wasn't ready so we had to wait in the lobby. But the hotel was full for a softball tournament so I'm sure that's why they were having trouble getting the rooms cleaned as quickly as they normally would.
The bar and restaurant on site were top notch. Great food and drinks

I did not like that we had to pay for breakfast. It was $12.95 for adults and $8 for children. The selection was not great (didn’t taste great either) and for kids that only wanted bacon and juice, fruit it was crazy. For the price of the hotel which was pretty expensive it should have been included unless the breakfast was being cooked fresh.
The room was great, pool and spa was great and the staff continued to add towels even late at night which I thought was amazing.
