Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe young lady miscounted my money when I first checked in and said I was short. Be careful if you are paying cash and make sure you remember how much you give people. Bring an extra $20 for deposit. Also, my key card stopped working on my second day stay. I inquired at the front desk about what may have happened and the young gentleman working there had replaced the card immediately for me and apologized. The shower takes 20 mins to get hot and the bottom floods but doesn’t overflow. Staff should throw out old mattresses in the back of the hotel next to dumpster. It’ll make the parking lot look a lot cleaner. Stray cats were cute, but there were a lot. Be careful of weirdos and drug users just like anywhere else.
Easy payment system. Convenient dumpster. Simple parking. Spacious double bed room with clean refrigerator and freezer. I really liked that Hometown Inn provided a hand and body wash for all skin types. That is very nice for people who may not have their own. Nice size TV and working phone. Quality price. Wi-Fi available. Kind customer service. Relaxed visitors who are alone and/or with children/teens. 7 eleven, 99 cent store, 24 hour Carls Jr., McDonald’s and a series of middle school and arts school across the street.

United States of AmericaEverything. Horrible front desk clerk Horrible smelling smoking rooms.
The front desk attendant was terrible and rude. I am elderly and he threatened us to cancel the entire reservation and be charged. We reserved 3 King , non smoking Rooms , and received only double beds. The police were in the parking lot dealing with someone on second floor so we did not want the children to stay on that floor(3rd room) and he would not cancel it , so had to sleep 3 people in one double bed. The rooms smelled like someone just smoked a pack of cigarettes. This is a horrible representation of a hotel, with absolutely no customer service.

United States of AmericaWow…where do I begin. I mean I know this is a relatively inexpensive place to stay but, I was blown away but how awful it was. Really. I was not expecting it to be that horrifically shocking. I’ll start from the beginning. We pull up, the security lady tells us that the receptionist is out to lunch so we need to wait for 30 min. We wait about 45 for him to return. As we are opening the gate to drive in to the main area we see a drunk driver struggling to enter. We head to the room and boy did it just absolutely reek. We’re talking nasal assault here. Cleaning products. Cigarettes. Marijuana. Mold maybe? We enter the room and well, I must be honest and say that it called to mind my stay in Tijuana, Mexico years ago. Moving on. There was graffiti all over the walls, on the bed frame, on the dressers, in the bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, I love a solid graffiti art piece. This was just not the time and place, ok? Dirty dirty dirty. Broken. Broken. Broken. Rip. Tear there. Tear there. EW hair there YUCK. Don’t use the towels guys. The soap crumbled in my hands :( The AC unit was broken, I was cold despite bringing sweaters and a blanket from home. The fridge? Also broken. Well there goes my drink. The TV was broken. I don’t need another screen but coming from someone who didn’t grow up with cable TV, I see it as something to look forward to when staying at a hotel motel what have you. There were stickers on the dresser, I suppose they were left from a child. No offense kid but I could’ve done without seeing that my whole life. Lastly, there were the sound of footsteps…all.night.long. I slept about 4 hours total. Lesson? Just stay at a regular consumer friendly place for comfort sakes! All that being said - I obviously had a very, memorable night lol. Oh yeah. And the power outlets stopped working.

United States of AmericaWe picked this place because the reviews said that it was very clean for the price and the wifi was very good. The first thing we noticed was a cockroach in the hallway, the room light didn't turn one, moved bed and found that the outlet was loose, no lock on the door, bed was very uncomfortable. My son needed wifi for an online meeting and had to go to the lobby to get the wifi hook up. Needless to say 6 short hours later, we left and booked with someone else.
The front desk/staff were very nice people and worked with us to the best of their ability

United States of AmericaThe bed was so hard I had to purchase a foam topped to put on it. I actually checked to see if it was a sheet of plywood it's so hard, it's not it's just hard. The refrigerator freezes everything. I even turned it off, it still runs and freezes everything.
They guy that checked me in is great. He was very friendly and polite. Beautiful garden area. To cold for the pool but that looks great as well. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
