The hotel itself is very tired looking. Lots of chipping/peeling paint, stains on the carpet, chipped wood, and very outdated. Lots of stains on the drop ceiling. And the pool was freezing-we visited in February and it was super chilly. Out kids had blue lips after 15 minutes.

Our stay was perfect for 1 night. Very clean. Decent breakfast. Affordable.

The one elevator was in the WORST location ever!! Had to walk "forever" just to get to the elevator from the lobby! Then when finally on your floor, had to walk many more corridors again to the room. Very difficult when carrying some heavy overnight bags!!! Never stay here again!!

Breakfast was typical motel fare. Very so so! Location goid.

Front desk attendant at checking didn’t provide much instruction for a first time occupant and did not process payment correctly. Was supposed to go on company card and she never switched it. Also, breakfast was supposed to be included and at 7 am, there was none, not even coffee.

Clean room. Easy to find. Morning staff very friendly.

Breakfast was the same every day... and one day there was no regular coffee in the machine. Also my room key demagitized twice .. it was a lengthy walk back to the lobby with hands full of stuff to reset a key.

Great central location for what i needed to do .. mystic / uncasville / new haven. Very clean and great value.

Elevator smelled awful, all the chips for sale in the snack area in lobby were expired by a few months, our key cards barely worked on any door. I eventually went to the desk and complained and got new ones. Frustrating, but was resolved quickly and no key card issues after that.

Room was spacious, liked microwave and fridge in room, water pressure was fantastic, breakfast had plenty of delicious choices, pool was clean.

it was nothing like what was in the pictures on the web site which looked new and inviting. the bathroom had the shortest toilet i've ever seen stuck under a counter top.

It was pretty standard for decor’. Nothing very exceptional. We were disappointed that the pool was closed at 9:30pm and did not open until 9:30am. It makes for a small window of use for travelers and we had two grandkids who would have enjoyed a swim after a long car ride.

The complimentary breakfast was great!

Softer beds and a larger bathroom would have made our experience even better.

We loved that there was a pool and it had salt water instead of chlorine. We greatly appreciated that we had a room on the first floor which made it easy to move in and out. We also appreciated that the Otter's Cove was within walking distance and the helpfulness of the staff who helped us immensely with our requests and finding food.

Lobby smelled funky, was given keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, front desk person did not apologize for the inconvenience, carpets in the hall and rooms were old and stained, fan in the bathroom didn’t work if there was one there

Some dated elements in pool and around property, breakfast room very warm (doors closed while cooking happening i think).

Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was timely and well stocked. Pool was great temp, spacious and nice to have shower adjacent.

The signage was terrible. Had to drive around the entrie building to find the front desk. Strange layout, but a sign would make the difference.
