Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was poor and poorly maintained. Some lights didn't work. The bathroom faucets didn't mix hot and cold.

The first room I was given was never cleaned from last occupant. After getting in the new room, found not to have any internet, thankfully it was late by the time we returned, so local channels were tolerated.

There were some random people loitering about the back of the building. Also, at 8:30 when breakfast still had another hour to go there were no eggs, bread, bagels, and old looking sausage. We were not able to eat the complimentary breakfast because there was nothing there to eat. Also, people sitting in the breakfast area were dressed in bonnets and bathrobes. The presentation was rather off putting so we left without eating.
Beds were clean and the bedspread looked new so I felt comfortable getting into the bed. Everything in my room looked clean but I can tell that the carpet that looked and felt clean was likely not vacuumed before we came in because there was dried old spaghetti noodles by the bed side.

bathtub dirty and moldy shower curtain Window curtains hanging off on the one side even with heat on you can feel cold air draft above you while in the bed. Breakfast was a joke barely Nothing in there and it was 8:30am 2 eggs was left cold .2 pieces sausage left No muffins,toast or bagels to choose Mold in bathroom & toilet water so high up & toilet sits too low to ground.

Shower pressure was a drizzle, nothing fancy, could use some updating. Hotel was stained of weed smoke smell.
Location was great. Lots of restaurants, stores and just about anything you would need is close by. The price was right for a quick visit just to sleep.

There were men loitering around the side door. They appeared to be Day Ready Laborers.
The room was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The hallways are not carpeted which increased hallway noise.

It wasn’t clean, the room was really outdated, there were little tiny kids running the hallways at 1am screaming, crying, laughing, and the parents were no were in sight. The bathroom in the room was dirty, the shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The beds were not the cleanest but for a one night stay it wasn’t awful.
It was very central to many restaurants and shopping. I was there for work and it was only a nine minute drive from Kylan Barn where I was shooting a wedding. I let them know ahead of time I was driving in front Fort Wayne, IN and asked if I could have an early check in. They got me in at 12:30 which was great so I could freshen up from my dreadful truck stop shower before I headed to the wedding I worked at 1:00pm.

The exterior was a little dumpy. The hallway floors were not carpeted so the room was not quiet. I could hear people walking outside the room.
Ease of check in and the friendliness of the staff. They were attentive and helpful. The room was clean.

Price was high for what it was, and the room (especially the bathroom was far from clean) there was long hair on the shower wall. I’m bald. Too be fair because of the tile pattern I could see why it was hard to see but still. Yeah gross
Check in and out staff very friendly, no issues with the reservation
