Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One burner in my stove didn't work and we saw about 20 Cockroaches in our room during our 5 day stay. Other than that I'm pleased. Nothing a little roach motel can't fix. Just wash all your belongings before entering your home
I liked the friendly staff and the kind maintenance man was very helpful.

They did not have any dishes or pots and pans so I can cook as well the TV did not work properly.
It was clean and the staff was polite and the location was good.

Rude unprofessional manager and groundskeeper who do nothing but harass and heckle you for anything while they’re smoking outside, not working, and not at the front desk.
The unit finishes, hardware, and appliances.

Noise, noise and more noise. People yelling in the hallways. A group hung out in the parking lot right outside my window, loud, yelling, it was hard to fall asleep and when finally did more yelling from the halls.

The rooms were outdated. A black line down the middle of the television. No ice buckets, no ash trays until I had to ask for one at the front counter. Only 1 night stand. Microwave wasn’t plugged up and there was no reachable outlet for it.

Light switches had build-up inside. Floor not clean-gray socks dirty after walking on floor for a minute. TV didn’t work. A/C was set to 74 and not adjustable.

Hallways were dirty needs new carpet. Beds were pitiful. Over the headboard was light bulb hanging overhead. Not a good idea.

We checked in at 4 in the afternoon and the room was not clean, it smelled a lot of marijuana, after they cleaned it to give it to us, in the shower there was garbage and it was dirty and the floor was not cleaned

Even though I was polite cordial and professional, the desk clerks one African American and one old white-headed woman were totally unprofessional indifferent and unhelpful! As soon as I got up to the desk and greeted them with a good morning, they both gave me the stink eye! You can reject someone's request for room but you don't have to be rude and not cordial and indifferent and incaring about the situation. Especially when I said that I straightened up the room and that I didn't leave it messy because I didn't want them to think that I was a pig. And they didn't even say thank you they didn't even say thanks for staying they didn't say anything to me. All they did was give me the stink eye! I was actually not allowed to rent another night because I called two times up to the desk to complain that there was a car in front of my room where I could hear people speaking and playing music not loudly but I could hear it and it was bothering me. Therefore they decided to kick me out! So my opinion of them is they are total female dogs in heat if you know what I mean! Especially when me and my cat were stuck on the side of the road freezing and my phone had run out of battery, I saw one of the clerks driving by and like gave her signal like can I use your phone and she just looked at me and drove right past me. These are a bunch of female dogs in heat that don't belong in a professional environment! Don't stay at this location unless you want to be treated rudely unprofessionally maybe if you're into s&m or something you could stay there.
I liked it when I walked out the door to go to another hotel

Elevator was broken and because my dogs blocked. When people walked by our door they said that they didn't like that and that we really need to leave. So we did went to a different hotel and it was much better but they refunded my money. I will never stay at a motel. 6
