Single use paper glasses everyday changed, glass ones would be nice and planet friendly. Missing some space - wardrobe, drawers - to put the clothes in. And in bathroom we have missing the cotton pads etc.

Good placement of hotel and suprisingly great view from the terrace. Also nice that everyday the towels were changed since the humidity was so high that they would never get dry.

Theres a very small restaurant, no room service and dont know about the breakfast. No good lobby or bar to hang out. The rooftop bar is nice, when open, but only open 5-11 pm. But you eat or get any food nearby. They took a $250 deposit when checking in,which you get back 3-10 business days after checking out. But maybe thats US standard?? Tiny towels. Ok

Very comfortable beds and good shower in very good location, walkable to many attractions. Im guessing the room is large by new york standards. Lots of good places to eat around. Highly recommend Friedmans Bagels, Miss Korea Bbq, Bear donuts just a minute or so away. Get your breakfast takeaway and eat on the hotel rooftop! Location is great especially if you like korean food.

The room is so small without any space that we could place our luggages. The lighting is kind of dark. And the worst is the noise of the aircon , you feel like you are inside the boat with the noise of the engine, that is the description i could give how loud the noise of the AC. Overall, not worth the amount that we paid for the room. We are not able to sleep well during our stay. When we went to the roof top, there was a cockroach. This the worst hotel that I have stayed so far. I am truly disappointed with my stay at Hyatt Herald square . I hope booking .com will look into this matter.

Gym/workout room was below basic, only elliptical and treadmills. No weight machines which would have been great----only free weights. Our first room was lovely and roomy only there was a horrible buzzing noise coming from the ceiling right over our heads in bed which was continuous. At 1AM the staff downstairs changed our room for us. Much smaller room but quiet. No full length mirror which made it difficult to dress.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel design was lovely.Love the front desks with the newspaper and some of the art too. Bed was comfy and bedding very clean.

I expected the TV to have access to streaming platforms such as Netflix. And I could hear a lot from the hallways although it claimed the rooms were soundproof.

Because there wasn't room service I rated the hotel lower overall. The signage was poor as I didnt know where the restaurant was located and assumed the highest floor was a rooftop deck.

however, I understand that this is New York, everything is expensive I get it. Me and my boyfriend had the king room for one night which was $270. The issue is that they charge $250 incidental fee just for ONE day! I understand that they have to charge a holding fee, but like basically when you check in you have already spent $250 spending money cause their incidental fee is so high. it’s literally ridiculous. Not to mention although the room was nice is was super small, not a lot of room to move around, no microwave, not a lot of room to put clothes if you need it. I just feel like to charge such a crazy amount for a potential “incident” and to not be some fancy hotel is crazy to me. Probably won’t stay here again.

the property itself was nice, the room was clean, the bathroom was pretty nice, they had a rooftop bar and dining, so the features were nice.
