Nothing. We did have issues with the bed warmers so not sure if we were doing something wrong or if something was wrong with them. We didn’t need it anyway as we fell fast asleep in the very comfortable bed.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful! The Papa room was gorgeous and the owners and staff literally thought of every little detail. Kalei, John and Claudia were very helpful and made our welcome so special.

This is a lovely cabin nestled in the beauty of Hawaiian foliage, where you can relax and unwind minutes from the Volcano National Park. The cabin is quaint and yet luxurious providing you with all you would need on any vacation. The hosts of the property are fabulous too, always making sure you have anything and everything you may need. We will definitely return.

The refrigerator is TINY and poorly regulated. It was either too cold, and froze our breakfast solid, or not cold enough, defrosting the tiny freezer compartment and getting everything in the fridge wet.

Love the location, tucked into the forest, and so very close to VNP. The room was cozy, and the staff were very responsive to our questions and needs. The breakfasts, delivered the night before were surprisingly tasty when heated up the next morning.

    Nothing. It was all good!

The Garden Suite was just beautiful. It had a real “cottage” feel. I also extended my stay and had to move across into the “Papa” room, which was a different style (modern) and just as enjoyable to stay in. The grounds are so picturesque, with beautiful gardens. I also wanted to extend my stay a second time (because the Volcano had started erupting!). And even though there was no availability there, John was so helpful and found me a room at a place a couple of streets away. And that enabled me to see the awe-inspiring erupting volcano. What an experience!

We loved staying at the Village Estates the night before our wedding. The cleanest air on the island. The room was quiet, neat and clean. Very cozy cute place. The owner gave us a nice bottle of local delicious wine to help celebrate our wedding day! Thank you very much - we can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast given was non-vegetarian. I wish the food preference was asked beforehand. Also, it was kept prior day in the fridge which should have been served fresh next day. A little bigger kitchen space would work great.

Beautiful ambience. Great quality furniture and appliances.

The rooms are located in a native forest, at five minutes from Volcano Visitor Center. Breakfast is avaible and they placed it in your room the previous afternoon, french toast sirup, and fresh fruit, so you may enjoy it at your leisure and warmed in microwave . The woman at reception was very kindly, smiling and professional. We stayed at Hina room

This was our second stay at Volcano Village Estates. My husband and I chose to come back this year for my birthday. I called ahead to ask about our stay and Lafayette was very helpful with places to find dinner and details about our stay. John also reached out to us by text to offer extra options and accommodations should we want them. Upon arrival, the greeting was warm and inviting once again. They made me feel very special and cared about. I appreciate that very much. The estate is a very lovely place and I can’t wait to come back. Huge Mahalo ❤️
