The door on the bathroom was very heavy and hard to close. My bed was broken.. it slopped every time I rolled over.

The location was good. The breakfast needs to have some simpler options. Like a vegan one too? They keep it clean which is HUGE for us.

Over priced for what it was. Door men just talked in front- no assistance. Room A/C was inadequate. Curtain rod had to be adjusted during our stay. No real property grounds. No one could answer questions about the water taxi.

The hallways on the floor we were on was being painted of which we were unaware of until we got off the elevator. o staff member mentioned it upon our checking in.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoors was very nice also inside the main lobby area.

1) this is the second time within a year that during our stay one elevator was non functional which made it very difficult for check out with all our stuff plus the only people who actually are friendly and go out of their way are at the poolside bar 2) not much communication about room cleaning- only changed sheets once I asked and didn’t even give us fresh towels or take away dirty ones on the floor, didn’t take garbage (even a whole pizza box on the floor by the garbage was left) 3) horrible service at restaurant - they have kids running the main desk who are not very friendly or helpful 4) overall, very overpriced for the lack of service. I wish I had better things to say given I do enjoy staying at this hotel for the reasons listed. If they would get their act in gear with better management it could be great but I’m not sure I’m coming back

Water front view is staring at large piles of rocks?! When and/or if the various phases are finished this place has great potential. Right now it was rather disappointing. Should have paid less and looked at my car in the parking lot.

Restaurant had some great dishes. Nice little bar. Neat artwork scattered about the lobby. Lots of pillows! Marina area has future potential.

I love the location, beautiful surroundings, the fact that there’s a restaurant, coffee shop, pools, and room is comfortable. I’ve stayed here at least 2-3 times prior. However, This stay had many negatives: 1 elevator was out which posed major problems for check out- 30+ wait times for the elevator and a cart for luggage. Staff just looked on- did not help all the people lugging their stuff up and down flights of stairs. Also, there was a wedding there Sat night and the music was very loudly thumping til 11pm. I had a migraine, the kids were trying to sleep, and had I known this was a factor, I would not have stayed here. I was on the floor directly above the party I guess. The WiFi barely worked which made my kids hard to handle at times. There was a very long wait to get food from the restaurant at almost 8:30pm. I loved the breakfast but the food I got from takeout for dinner was not great and it was $60 for an appetizer salad and app wings, drink and dessert all to go. There are more negatives but I’ll stop there. I’m sure I’ll stay again for the positives that usually go along with this, but for the steep price of over $600 per night, I was hoping I’d have a better experience. I know these all sound like obnoxious complaints, but I’m a single mom on one of my only getaways - with kids in tow- and needed some rest and nice memories to share with my little ones.

When we first arrived we were put in a room where construction was happening just above it. It was an amazing room right by the elevator and ice machine so it was totally quiet(not). They moved us and apologized and moved us to a room that was furthest from the elevator and three stories below without offering any type of compensation for the restless nights.

It’s was clean and amazing. Everything you could need was there.

ac was so loud it kept us up. We called several times to add a second room but couldn’t get one. We booked a second room at marriot and then when we arrived they had us for two rooms. A manager knocked on our door at checkout time and said we had to leave right away or get charged 25 per hour. We were packing up so they wasn’t a reason to say that. The only reason we were running late was due to slow service at the restaurant for breakfast.

Our room key never worked more than one time, which was super inconvenient with 4 kids. Apparently our room key lock had a low battery, but it never solved the problem. So we had our keys switched out multiple times and seems the staffs keys always worked. Our wi-fi never worked properly which was never a serious problem until the staff gave us a phone number to solve the issues ourselves . I’m not sure why it’s the guests job to solve the WiFi problem. For the money spent I am not completely happy.

We had a king size suite for 4 adults, the only bed was comfortable, however the pullout couch absolutely needed to be replaced! The couch smelled awful and had stains all over the cushions. i tried to flip the cushions over and the other side was worse! We couldn’t sit in the main room on it because it was so nasty and hard. Absolutely Gross!

My one small complaint is that when we were there on a Monday there was no staff at the pool until 4. It was a bit annoying having to come out of the pool and go inside when it’s air conditioned and you are wet. They should have one staff member outside taking orders sooner than 4.

We go every year and it’s awesome every time!! This is my moms happy place :)
