Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One of the exterior 1st floor doors near our room was not locked (or at least not locked by 9:15P)
Comfortable room and ample parking. The hot continental breakfast offered a lot of options: cheese omelets, hard boiled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, bacon, yogurt & granola, make-your-own waffles, fruit.

The housekeepers had all trash bagged up and sitting out of the rooms in the hallways. It made the hotel look a little trashy inside.

Not much at all within walking distance of the hotel. The apartment building next door seemed a little sketchy (a bit rundown, people smoking dope in the parking lot). I was initially concerned about vehicle security but had no issues. The breakfast was a very mediocre hotel breakfast.
Nice, clean and comfortable room, although the upholstery on the chair in the room has seen better days.

They would not allow bikes in the rooms and didn’t have a secure place to keep bikes. Staff said their parking lot was safe. Maybe the hotel (staff) doesn’t know how much u have invested in bikes. We have ebikes. There was (1) place to charge your bike outside. You had to sit with your bike while charging ☹️We cannot remove our batteries. So charging them in our room was not possible.They’re more plugs on light poles but had to wait until it was dark for them to b hot and stay with you bike. The desk was very friendly until we asked about our bikes. Not a good hotel for bikers with e-bikes.
Rooms were large and a nice patio for Happy Hour.

It was all good for our guests from Connecticut who had never been to Michigan! The only reason I rated this a 9 was because this is not a fancy hotel. Just your basic, clean, all-you-need hotel for a quick getaway to TC!
One member of our party had to change rooms - King to double queen. Fortunately there was one available and it was an easy switch. Thank you!

The hotel is the bare minimum basics at the price of a mid-luxury venue. If you can afford their rates, better to choose an alternative because they are bare-bones.
On the main strip, this hotel is large and near all the "tourist" venues. Our room was large enough and very easy to access. This is a no-frills venue in the heart (and traffic) of the area.

The room was a little smaller. It needs some other seating besides the "office" chair. Overall a great experience.
My grandson loved the pool & hot tub. The hotel had a great staff working there. The breakfast in the mornings was really good.

Really would be comfortable for handicap room if there was a comfortable chair to sit in. Desk chair with wheels not safe and 2 people had not enough seating.

Being told, via a text message, after I had checked into the hotel that my room would only be clean every three days. If this is their practice, it should be disclosed on the booking websites that they use.

The staff are not the friendliest.
We love staying at this hotel for the pool and breakfast. However the staff always seem to be a bit rude.

The location has a wonderful view of its own parking and other surrounding buildings.
The place seems to be an older building but has been well kept and modernized. The room was clean, and the place has great amenities for the price. The free breakfast is a plus. What little interaction with the staff was pleasant.
