Did not like that our neighbors woke up at 5:30 and their dogs barked a lot. Was bummed everything closed by 7.

You can hear your neighbors. Thank goodness our noisy neighbor left after our first night. When other guests smoked outside their patio, the smoke went to our room too. Keep your windows shut, in case. There was a power outage for several hours, so we laid on the grass in front of our room until the power came back. The pool has no shade at all. The refrigerator was only a fridge, no freezer.

You get your own patio and entrance. The parking is in front of your room. We were at Rm 167. The rooms are small but manageable. The beds are comfortable. The pillows were soft and fluffy. The shower stall was really small. The Inn was right in the middle of town. Everything was easily accessible, from the riverside park, to the restaurants. The AC worked really well. But it can only be 20 degrees below outside temp. We had it at 70 degrees the whole time, we were comfortable.

I thought the front off was closed most of the day and I would see them drive off and leave at all hours of the day. Pillows were too hard for my liking but then again some people probably prefer hard pillows

The initial encounter with the couple working in the front desk was not horrible, but was absolutely not friendly. It just seemed that the female in the office was not pleasant and almost bothered by us checking in. After a couple encounters, I did share with her that my significant other was terminal, and she did seem to change after that however, I felt that they should be friendly, no matter what. And sadly, and very oddly, we found blood on our sheets that appeared to be fresh. When we went to the office to try and get new sheets at approximately 5 PM, no one was there so we had to put a towel over the sheets. I will note that the room for the most part was clean, but that was very disturbing.

We came to town to visit my significant others family. The location is perfect and I like Kernville. It’s a cute quaint little town. Haven’t been into town for a good 20 years and it was just nice and quaint.

Walls are made of paper, WiFi kept going out and was out for our second day. Beds are old and can tell the indent from people laying on the same spot for a long time!! Maybe rotate the mattress

The river walk was closed due to renovations due to flood damage from previous years.. But that's not the Kernville Inn's fault... Only real complaint I have is that the beds are a little too soft for my liking, I'm used to sleeping on a firm memory foam mattress and my back didn't like it at all. But is a personal preference on my part and the beds were nice and clean otherwise.

I pretty much like everything about this place. It wasn't my first time there as I used to work there 30 years ago and decided to bring the family to see the sites in the area. Even though it's not owned by the same people as it was when I worked there, it still has the same charm and friendly staff as it always had. And I love having the river and downtown emenities within walking distance without feeling like you are "in town".
